Nice flat Parking in the forest close to a Geolehrpfad, the impressive Fladensteine and a MTB-Trail! Had a peaceful night, no "No Camping" signs, but dont try it at the official Geolehrpfad Parking at the Soccer Field, there are louds of signs...

Awesome spot! Road is not that bad as described but I would not do it with an RV. Beach is clean and quiet and we saw lots of wild life. We were lucky to have a sunny day because it was very foggy the next day which is supposed to be normal at this time of the year

Stayed at the lakeside campground, had grill, fire pit, and table campsite was very well maintained, plenty of space between the campsites. showers are closest to the north point campground. Showers were nice, plenty of room in the stall to change and get dry, the bathrooms were clean as well. Overall campgrounds we’re very quiet and everyone was respectful! Would definitely stay here again if traveling on the I-40.

we stayed here on the island for one night. No tourist. Use the marked east entrance and you are fine. I don't recommend to get closer than 100 meters or drive along the shore, otherwise don't cry if you get stuck.

There's no road, you really need an 4x4 to master some barriers.

Definitely not cheap, $4.87/gal but it was a lot faster than waiting at the U-Haul down the street.

We stay 4 nights at One Poto campsite which is an official very nice and familial campground in front of the beach own by Iotefa (+68989536206, [email protected]). Available : sanitary, shower, electricity, drinkable water, one traditional dome for cooking (fare), free access to sea-kayak, small river and high waterfall. Restauration on request. 3 km from Tautira centre. The couple will provide anything you need for having a beautiful night. View is incredible and clear water sea swim.

We stayed one night and it was a quiet park. It was a grassy field (no services) but a perfect spot on our way through Alberta. There was a host on site that said we could leave a donation in the box.

we asked inside and was given the phone number of the property manager. I called him and he said it was OK for one night. he wanted color/make/license number so if anyone called about us he would know it was us. but another van was in lot when we woke up.

This is a decent campsite with a budget $15 per night option with no water or electric hookup, however you can use the bathroom/showers and that building has a water spigot you can use to fill up. Near a beautiful lake. Reservation website: https://reserve.tnstateparks.com/norris-dam/campsites

What a wonderful place to spend a few days! It’s not necessary to reserve in June. The park was nearly empty so we had our choice of spots. It’s an extra $4 to reserve online.
The place is immaculate, let’s help to keep it that way. No glass bottles of glasses are allowed outside your vehicle so be sure to bring along plastic or stainless cups for beverages.
The 3 mile” Hydra” hike and bike path around the perimeter of the rocks is great to do on a bike early morning before it gets too hot. There’s a book exchange in the visitors Center

free to stay over but the bathrooms are filthy. bring a bottle of hand sanitizer and Lysol and spray down your shoes, sanitize anything that touched anything. we arrived after dark, it's not well lit so if you are used to Eastern waysides this isn't it. You might just stay on blm land and pee in the desert, instead.
