After El Chaco there’s a fence on the road. Apparently the day before yesterday a new landslide has occurred. The road will be blocked for two months.

Close to town. Quiet at night. Street lights. Other long term RVs there. Good place.

This was a great campground, considering there aren’t very many tent campgrounds around Midland. I called earlier in the week multiple times and finally got through to the city but they were friendly and took my name to let them know that I would stay overnight.

Nice park, has boat launch, fishing dock, dog park, playground, gazebos, tables, along paved walking/biking trail that goes along lakeshore, porta johns, trash, has large park area extending on the lake

Yeah, gotta agree with TravelingRedwoods. Great border crossing. Way way newer than several others we've been to. Well organized and clean. Banjercito open 8am to Midnight, absolute life saver considering how far you'd have to go otherwise. Strangely not on Google maps either. TIP cancellation was super quick and easy. American side was very cordial but did do a relatively thorough search of the van. Still was only a 30 minute process, both sides combined. Though it was basically empty on a Saturday night.

Class B van stayed 1 night just fine, no problems. Lots of parking on all sides of Bass Pro. We were the only van there.

They have a clearance. Very unique items like pomegranate and blueberry honey, pollen seeds which is incredible for health and lots of other things. Get here before it's all sold out. We got a half price deal

They have diesel and you can pay with creditcard (visa).

Easy border, friendly staff on both side. No money asked. Togo side is quite slow. We did the eVisa for Benin and we printed it to show them. All done in one hour.
The road to the border from Notsé is all paved. Kpalimé to Notsé is piste but in good condition. No problem.

I arrived at Ahmeds garage 3 months ago, even if the garage is super busy he takes his time to welcomes Overlander‘s or people who just need help. The whole team there is more a family instead of one Bigs boss and mechanics. The repairs on my car were always fast and the result was super good. Because of the long repair process of my car(a lot was spoiled)I had the opportunity to see how they work. The standard is high, like europe, even if they have not every spare part for every brand he knows to organize it in short time and good quality.

Big flat gravel grassy place with lots of campers. Few hundred meters to very nice old town with lot of restaurants. Don't forget to visit the gaves in the center and castle you see from this "camping". Lidl supermarkt in town too

Seemed like a nice and quiet place until about 5:30 a.m. and every local in town came here to continue the party. Wouldn't recommend on a Saturday night.

We stayed for a couple of nights and it was very quiet. We were the only ones there. Cost's are 20 baht per person per night and 20 baht for the Vehicle per night. A very clean nice place with a stunning setting.
Walk along the trail and enjoy nature.
Can't comment on the Toilet and Shower since we have our own in the Rig.

we found this place closed. Doesn't look like it is still operating. Also could not see any place to park a camper

Great little salt hotel at the edge of the Salar.
50bob pp, so 100bob for. Doble room for two. The room itself is v small but outside communal area is great with little salt tables and benches. Kinda like a hostel vibe, if you get the crowds in (we were the only ones there at the time tho)
Shower was hot, and beds nice and warm.
Decent WiFi available too!

FYI- this place becomes a ghost town after 2:30ish when all the tours leave for the day - get your food and hits before this!
