This is a difficult site to quantify. My wife disliked it, dirty, disorganized and barely functional with a disinterested owner who only appeared to see us off after one night (100 pesos per vehicle).
I on the other hand quite liked the disorder as it felt as close to wild camping as I could get on this stretch of coast. The toilets worked the shower was just a sandy compartment to use our solar shower. Our dog loved the grass. The ocean was too rough with huge swells for swimming and the WiFi worked for my wife’s identical phone whereas mine hardly worked at all. No Telcel signal here. Another guest had a strong T Mobile signal. Go figure.
Highway 200 is a delight to drive in our van but there aren’t easily located wild camps as any spot that looks likely is turned into a camping ground more or less successfully. The village of San Juan de Alima is lovely with excellent and varied street food, so a night here will give you access.
I wish you luck deciding if it is right for you!

what a truly horrifying experience! I don't know what has happened between now and the last posts, but this place was awful. if we hadn't shown up so late I would have high tailed it and left. this place only has electricity and water for one vehicle and was unable to get wifi. the bathroom trash cans were full of diapers and overflowing with waste. it has flushing toilets, but you have to share them with a colony of ants, they don't have seats, and no where to wash your hands afterwards. the palapa area was full of trash and several of the tables looked like animals had been butchered on them and then not cleaned up. flies everywhere. the smell from this and the drain for the bathroom being literally feet away through a broken pipe was an assault on all of my senses. there were boney remains of a dog sized animal strewn across the parking area which my dog ate serval pieces of and got sick. the halogen grow lights outside do not get turned off at night and are unnecessarily bright. when we woke up one of the caretakers(hardly seems like a fitting name given the shape of things) was spraying our van and the whole grassy area around it with water. they charged us 200 pesos for the privilege. consider yourself warned.

Clean spot for one night. Clean showers and bathrooms. Very calm. Almost no shade for your rig but you can hangout under the palapas.

Still a good overnight option. Very quiet. Juan checked us in for 200 pesos including fast internet for small truck and 2 person. Still no mobile reception. Checked other iOverlander options: Hotel Mar Y Sol was closed. Casa Paraiso, looks very run down.
