christopher.hocker | Yeah, gotta agree with TravelingRedwoods. Great border crossing. Way way newer than several others we've been to. Well organized and clean. Banjercito open 8am to Midnight, absolute life saver considering how far you'd have to go otherwise. Strangely not on Google maps either. TIP cancellation was super quick and easy. American side was very cordial but did do a relatively thorough search of the van. Still was only a 30 minute process, both sides combined. Though it was basically empty on a Saturday night. |

saturn1 | One of the best garage‘s on the route to South Africa. I arrived at Ahmeds garage 3 months ago, even if the garage is super busy he takes his time to welcomes Overlander‘s or people who just need help. The whole team there is more a family instead of one Bigs boss and mechanics. The repairs on my car were always fast and the result was super good. Because of the long repair process of my car(a lot was spoiled)I had the opportunity to see how they work. The standard is high, like europe, even if they have not every spare part for every brand he knows to organize it in short time and good quality. |

johanroos1961 | Big flat gravel grassy place with lots of campers. Few hundred meters to very nice old town with lot of restaurants. Don't forget to visit the gaves in the center and castle you see from this "camping". Lidl supermarkt in town too |

instagram.com/lembo.on.the.go | Seemed like a nice and quiet place until about 5:30 a.m. and every local in town came here to continue the party. Wouldn't recommend on a Saturday night. Parecía un lugar tranquilo hasta todo los locales vinieron a continuar la fiesta a las 5:30 a.m. No lo recomendaría para los fines de semana. |

FYI- this place becomes a ghost town after 2:30ish when all the tours leave for the day - get your food and hits before this! |

st.agricola | Nice and quiet place directly at the blue lagoon. Grassy area to stay with small vans. Really big RVs max have problems with trees on the short road. Daytime some locals, at night alone. Basic cool shower, bathrooms basic too. Good wifi. |

bloodhound89 | Stayed one night. Couldn’t reach anyone on the phone to ask permission to stay but when we arrived there was already a truck camper there so we figured it was fine. Big lot. Level. Quiet night. Would stay again. |

LauraundMariano | Parking area of Sigh temple. No road noise, just the sound of the river and prayers from the temple. Prayers finished at 8pm and startet again at 6 in the morning with singing and music, so not the best place for sleeping long. After an hour or so it was much quieter.

UpJueck | We spent one night here after visiting the Taj Mahal and had no problem. We didn't ask anybody about night parking when we entered the parking and nobody bothered us. Quite night.
Toilet closed at night. Don't park where the busses are parked (to the right), try to park at the far end going straight ahead close to the toilets. |

B&I | Absolutely horrible! Would be a nightmare if we could have gotten some sleep. Don't go here during weekends or holidays. There is no limit on how many people they let on the campsite. It was so busy, there were even people that camped right next to the entrance of the toilet blocks. Toilets were very very dirty. Showers only cold water and also dirty, but makes sense with so many people. Half of them had huge speakers standing outside blaring super loud music until very very late. Expect to not sleep. At all. If we could, we would have left. We felt we were on Pinkpop without nice bands playing. Just bad stereo installations and bad music. Can't believe people with babies stay here. |

geertschaaij | along the river bank there are many places to park you camper(van) or set up a tent. many fire pits on different places. view on the mountains and lots of birds. in daytime some cars drive by on the other side of the river. that didnt bother us. i think you can use the water from the river to drink or at least to boil for cooking. no wifi. very weak internet signal. no toilets so take your scoop with you. |
