Wow ! Beautiful landscape and 3 nice hiking circuits. You can sleep in the cozy refugios (with matress, oven, toilet) or at a campsite. But: Reservation online necessary (we were lucky and arranged at arrival).
The access to this Nationalpark are approx 90km gravel road.
Bring food and think about carrying additional gasoline as the next gas stations are far away and there are approx 100km to drive in the park if you wanna go to all places.
Enjoy and keep this place as wonderful as it is.
No entrance fee, Refugios are for free - this is unique in Argentina.

The campground and motel are currently closed for renovations but the pool is open and has hot showers, included in the $7.00 entry fee. We swam and had a great time!

Backed into the spot closest to the beach with our Sprinter and had a view of the bay and islands for 2 days. It’s just like the other reviews say - safe, free, no hassle but loud with cars cruising the malecon and playing their music. However, we were here on Friday and Saturday nights, so maybe it’s quieter other nights. We felt safe as it is right in the open and a lot of people use the malecon. Other overlanders came but none stayed overnight. We are not sure why as it is a great place.

Very nice cabañas with private bath and private parking slot in front of your cabaña. We stood for two days. Betty is very nice and helpful. She help us to organise a hostel in trevelin and also to organize some camping gear.
Our motorbikes stood in front of our cabaña inside the closed yard.
There is absolute no difference between the wifis here in Gobernador Costa. It’s quality changes during the day.

Safe place to spend the night on the way to antigua guatemala, little noise from the trucks but we slept well in this place, it is free, there is a restaurant with typical food. If you stay under the tree in the dirt area you can sleep better.

Stayed here for one night with motorhome. Price is 12.000 CLP and we slept on a big grass area. We had a calm night. On day there are some nice hike tracks around the lake through wild nature.

Nice place. Free. Tables, Electricity and cold showers available. Unfortunately during my stay it was extremely crowded and noise. Locals heard music on full volume until 4 am and at 6 am some Cars shows up and continuied. I guess it's really nice in off season, but avoid it for spending a night at weekend or in summer.

Nice large parking lot with free electric hookup and a free dumpster. Didn't use the water but they had that option. Next to a park which had grass area for my dog and playground stuff. Free to stay 1 night, donations are appreciated. The park has a restroom that was clean when I went in but the stalls had no doors- I was solo so it didn't matter but if it was busy then it may have been awkward. Typical road noises, nothing unusual or louder than normal. They have a fenced in dog park with poo bags but unfortunately people havent been responsible so it was not useable. Other than that this spot is perfect for a restful overnight stay! Thanks to the town of Dumas for providing this amenity!

desert dusty dispersed camping. Currently only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday but apparently it’s open daily in spring — (could be worth checking out Instagram for accurate hours or a DM).

We had an incredible time after 3 days of free dry camping in Anza-Borrego. It’s really sick here don’t want to blow it up too much but if you appreciate nice things and are down to spend a bit this is truly worth it.

$20 for a day pass gets you showers, restroom, hot tub, unheated pool, tennis courts (with rackets and balls to use at no additional cost), a great little library and non-alcoholic drinks to purchase. BYOB, but obviously not a party spot. Bring your own food as well.

Owners are extremely chill and accommodating. There is also two trailers to rent to sleep in but they book up in advance.

Definitely not cheaper than the library but good warm showers and a place to chill with no pressure to leave quickly rules. Lots of very cozy spots to sit and relax, inside or poolside. Towels provided as well.

The best espresso (2 $) we had since Italy. You will finde the small lovely coffeeshop on the mainfloor of the Boulvard Palace Hotel alongside some other small shops. Beside cakes and coffee, they sell also selfmade donuts, croissants and more. From time to time you will maby see Ali, the owner, greeting the hight society. It's a nice place just to sit down and observe whats going on around the mainstreet.
