As people have mentioned and you'll see for yourself, you can camp pretty much anywhere along this stretch of cliffs. I'm marking this place because it's hidden from the road and is nice and flat. It's where we take off for paragliding. Coming from Antofagasta towards Juan López you'll see a big sign on the right. I think its one of the Chile government advertising boards. Anyway, turn off just before the sign and you'll see a couple of distinct "roads" in the sand. Take the one going directly to the cliff and it drops down to a lower tier and you can I park in the dip at the bottom to level off. Hidden from road, great View back over Antofagasta at night. Quiet. Not much wind at night. Weak entel signal. Paragliders may be flying from about 9am - noon so you may be asked to move as you'll be obstructing the take off /landing, but you can just move to where they park at the top level. They'll be gone when the wind gets too strong.

All as described (although I wouldn’t say the green sign is that big). Just manoeuvre until out of sight of the road, which has little traffic at night anyway. Great sunset, sunrise and birds. Totally undisturbed.
Report Check-InEndroit très tranquille pour passer la nuit et si en plus vous êtes pilote de parapente comme moi c’est un bon endroit pour voler en soaring.
