As described by previous overnighters. Lot was empty when we arrived early afternoon. Just about all electric spots taken in the 100 degree heat this evening.
Used the dump station, took on water, stayed one night…
Report Check-InNice large parking lot with free electric hookup and a free dumpster. Didn't use the water but they had that option. Next to a park which had grass area for my dog and playground stuff. Free to stay 1 night, donations are appreciated. The park has a restroom that was clean when I went in but the stalls had no doors- I was solo so it didn't matter but if it was busy then it may have been awkward. Typical road noises, nothing unusual or louder than normal. They have a fenced in dog park with poo bags but unfortunately people havent been responsible so it was not useable. Other than that this spot is perfect for a restful overnight stay! Thanks to the town of Dumas for providing this amenity!
Report Check-InJust stopped for a break on our way to somewhere else. 20 free electric hookups including 50A. However, I spoke with someone who stayed the night and they said there were 3 or 4 pedestals not working. Stays are limited to 24 hours and are free. There are bathrooms (ewww) and a dump station. There is water but we did not take any and I was told it's pretty "dark." We are 100% self contained and I would stay here if I was passing through. We don't need any hookups.
Report Check-InFree 24 hour RV park provided by City of Dumas. Asphalt lot (with loose gravel) next to a City Park and Monthly RV Park. Felt Safe. Two others (RV and Schoolie) showed up. Electric hook ups 20,30,50amp. Did not see water. Nothing fancy here but a nice rest stop provided by the City of Dumas for FREE.
