Nice picknick area right next to the river. Crystal clear water. It ist right next to the road but not much traffic at night. Some trash, but still ok for one night. No amenities, no 4wd needed, level and shady.

Beautiful, clean, free site. We saw orcas from the beach west of the campground, though only for a brief moment. No thrashcans, take out your thrash.

Best town to stay the night to (re-)acclimatise coming from Puerto Maldonado, since Juliaca is at 3800m. Driving into town there is a parking (cochera). Seems like the best place to stay the night, but the woman attending wouldn't let us.
The location of this wild camp was outside of town. I changed it to this spot. It's a triangle between two roads with cars and trucks parked there. Town security told us it's the safest because there is a camera hanging above it. A friendly man also told us it's safe. Had a surprisingly quiet night, no barking dogs and barely any traffic. Trucks started driving by again from 6am.

Good spot for the night, far away enough from the downtown area to be quiet but still within a good walking distance. Tented and had plenty of space to set up, wasn’t very busy. One shower in the woman’s was free to use so that was handy but tried to plug phone into all six of the power outlets in the bathroom and none seemed to be working. Was $10 for the night which when considering the space, facilities and location it was a great price - would stay here again.

31$place, firepermit 9,25$+tax, self reg., first in first serve, check out 2pm, only a few places have sea view (best 37), we got the last in the row 48, not Level, ok for big rigs, lots of trees everywhere so you can see only forest and not the nice sunrise and sunset

Passamos algumas noites e não possui facilidades, porém vale a pena visitar, lindo lugar e a água do rio pode ser usada para pia ou banho. Local tranquilo.

$3 for a VERY hot shower. The showers are open/communal but the women's does have 3 private cubicles. They weren't that clean, but it was the end of the day and only $3, so can't complain. The staff were lovely!

Lovely campsite in a lush green garden in the middle of the dry bush, a little oasis not to be missed on your way north. Clean quaint ablutions and super hosts Patrick and Hercules have promised us freshly baked bread with bacon and cheese! Electricity at site.

Ferry was 10.000 CFA for a 4x4 after hard negotiations (originally asked for 40.000 CFA) warning: corrupt military post on Conakry site. Wanted bribes for nothing! Did not pay and blocked the road while having lunch :))

We have stayed with Harry and Gee 3 times in the last month as we bounced around Zambia and each time the welcome and hospitality has been exceptional. The sire and house are beautiful with a lovely swimming pool, green lawns and beautiful clean, hot showers and toilets. A laundry with washing machine is available to use. Harry and Gee invite the guests to join them for communal dinner around a large table set out under the stars. Gee cooks the most delicious food and the evenings atr full of interesting chatter and laughter. There is also an honesty bar. During our stays we met many of our overlanding 'friends" from Instagram and it was so good to connect in person. if there is a correct formula for running a campsite and lodge Harry and Gee have found it!!!

Nice spot right on the beach. Known by locals for fishing. Accessible with small car and small camper. Not sure a big RV would make it down the hill. Follow the dirt road right next to the boat ramp.

Wasn’t a fee the first time we came but the next week they said there’s a fee. Anything more than 5 gallons is $5 total. No hose but we could fit our 5 gallons jugs under the spout

At exit 63, there is a small sno-park parking lot on the south side of the freeway where you could park. There are no signs saying you can’t. We continued down Cabin Creek Road a very short distance to this parking overflow to be a bit further off the freeway. It’s a large dirt parking area. There are also other parking options down this dusty road.

Horn blaring guy returned last night when I stayed. It's probably on his way to work and part of his routine. Around 6 am there gets to be a fair amount of vehicles, including semi trucks passing through.

This spot is ...ok... in the middle of the night, but I'd just find somewhere else. This part of town had plenty of other industrial-like roads with far less traffic and without a whole rv encampment setup already.

Very nice place, good campground with all facilities described. And the owner has a car mechanic workshop with a lot of experience in expedition vehicles, so also a great place in case you have trouble with your car.

Perfect when doing the cabot trail but not staying on campground in the park. We used the facilities in the park and spent the night here, outside the park. There were three others.
Very quiet at night.

a nice very quiet Campground South of Port Townsend Washington. about 30 sites. very large rigs would have trouble. week but satisfactory Verizon. half of the sites are in the woods. the access is a narrow winding Road limited to 21 to 30 ft length. the other campsites are easily accessed and limited to trailers of 20 ft or less and add your toe vehicle to that. No utilities but water is nearby. $32. up to $37. Washington Sr low income is ½.

Just next to the Super quiet road between Cruce Capote(?) and Freirina.
Don't look it up using Google maps, use Maps.me for accurate info.
Extremely quiet, wind protected (but perhaps there just wasn't any wind in the area).
Needs good ground clearance, big rigs doubtful.
No cell coverage whatsoever.
