Nice spot right on the beach. Known by locals for fishing. Accessible with small car and small camper. Not sure a big RV would make it down the hill. Follow the dirt road right next to the boat ramp.

Wasn’t a fee the first time we came but the next week they said there’s a fee. Anything more than 5 gallons is $5 total. No hose but we could fit our 5 gallons jugs under the spout

At exit 63, there is a small sno-park parking lot on the south side of the freeway where you could park. There are no signs saying you can’t. We continued down Cabin Creek Road a very short distance to this parking overflow to be a bit further off the freeway. It’s a large dirt parking area. There are also other parking options down this dusty road.

Horn blaring guy returned last night when I stayed. It's probably on his way to work and part of his routine. Around 6 am there gets to be a fair amount of vehicles, including semi trucks passing through.

This spot is ...ok... in the middle of the night, but I'd just find somewhere else. This part of town had plenty of other industrial-like roads with far less traffic and without a whole rv encampment setup already.

Very nice place, good campground with all facilities described. And the owner has a car mechanic workshop with a lot of experience in expedition vehicles, so also a great place in case you have trouble with your car.

As described, plenty of room. slow cell service. The nearby road is active, but not too noisy. Clean, please keep it this way!

Perfect when doing the cabot trail but not staying on campground in the park. We used the facilities in the park and spent the night here, outside the park. There were three others.
Very quiet at night.

No utilities but water is nearby. $32. up to $37. Washington Sr low income is œ.

Just next to the Super quiet road between Cruce Capote(?) and Freirina.
Don't look it up using Google maps, use Maps.me for accurate info.
Extremely quiet, wind protected (but perhaps there just wasn't any wind in the area).
Needs good ground clearance, big rigs doubtful.
No cell coverage whatsoever.

Public Water Faucet. It's easy to fill bottles but to fill the tanks it was difficult because the hose is only 4 ft long.

Large Rec Site. Some wide open areas and some more private,2 pit toilets 1 could be wheelchair accessible/change room ,the dock is not very afloat and a ways from shore now, decent boat launch, also has a large grassy day use area/beach. Saskatoon berries everywhere! Faint hum of industrial and also roosters in the distance waking up with the sun. Bring your own wood, not much to scavenge here. Hunters fill up in the fall Sadly the Fire pits are very full of ash,”user maintained” is a tough concept for some people ,most have garbage, tin and glass in them ;(
Cheers

We reached the cave, counterclockwise, but then had difficulties to find a trail to continue. We tried several cow tracks, but had no luck. In the end, we walked down to the cow pasture, went around the range, up to the other saddle and encountered a cow gate. From there it was easy to reach the trail head again.
A few days later, we walked clockwise and came to a big tree at the cliff face. There, we climbed up on the right and made it to top. Search for a step 10m wall with a rope to climb down the other side. We could hear people in the cave, but again, could not make the last 50m because of thick bushes and step rocks. Recommendations: Take a guide or explore the cave to find the hiden exit.

Awesome campground, stayed at site 13 — mostly shaded spot. It’s super quiet here. $5 a night to stay but if you have NP pass it saves you $2.50, paid on the rec.gov app.. easy! Cell service isn’t to bad and there’s toilets (clean) and place to throw out trash. They do have some spots designated for hunters (during season) Overall really happy with this spot!!

Great place to dump your tanks free. It looks like the road construction keeps you from going there but it doesn’t.

Come from the north and you’ll see what I mean. We didn’t try it from the south. They’ve left a little dirt road. So go right ahead...see picture.

Beautiful site with a huge tropical garden. Offers very nice rooms, cabañas and camping in tent. No campers. Clean hot shower, nice swimming pool, very quiet. Friendly owner speaks English. Good WiFi. Nice veranda. Humming Birds in the garden. Asks 10$ pP per night but we could talk him down to 6$. Not cheap but worth the money. Highly recommended. Bring bug repellent, quite a few mosquitoes here... :o)

I was on a motorcycle and went out here to check out the spot. I decided not to stay here because there were a few people already there. It is a nice spot worth checking out. The reason I am posting is the road changes to Dirt with no **"WARNING"** Extremely dangerous on a motorcycle!!! It was more good luck than good management that kept me upright. Just wanted give people a heads up.
