Right at the Lake. Beautiful and quiet spot. Not far from the Naute Kristall Distillery (fantastic Schnaps and Cappuccino!)
collect a bag of garbage to leave it cleaner than found

we picked up a big bag of garbage and brought it to Fischer canyon reception, so it will be more likely to get taken care of than the garbage that's laying around.
please do the same that's our responsibility as overlanders to leave it cleaner than before
Report Check-InRelax place during the week. Plenty of birds and we took a shower inside the lake. But unfortunately totally dirty with full of garbages :-( We found some wind protection under a tree.

Report Check-InReally nice place, amazing sunset and sunrise over the lake and fantastic night sky! Lots of musquitos after dusk due to the lake, though they were more enoying than actually biting us.
There was quite some trash unfortunately but you can find relatively clean places. We cleaned up around our place so hopefully it's a little cleaner for future overlanders! We would recommend staying here!
Report Check-InNice place, lake in the middle of dessert! unfortunately a lot of trash arround. We were here on Saturday so 2 local cars came but didn't stay for a night. We were alone.
Report Check-InView was amazing and it’s easy to find a spot close to the lake. Sadly there was a lot of trash around and a lot of locals camped there as well, but that might have been because we camped here around the christmas holidays. Nightsky was incredible , we would stay again.
Report Check-InNo longer a National Park so the campsite on T4A is no longer here. But you can camp for free on the lake front. No facilities however and the rubbish bins were overflowing and blowing everywhere. Quiet and dark.
