Nice picknick area right next to the river. Crystal clear water. It ist right next to the road but not much traffic at night. Some trash, but still ok for one night. No amenities, no 4wd needed, level and shady.

Stayed at another similar widening nearby. There are many such spots along this road, some bigger and some smaller, and some well above the river level, so the mild flooding wasn't a worry. Easier if you have your own toilet with you, but possible to manage without, with some good timing and creativity. I really liked this place, it was beautiful.
