We have spent 2 nights with our camper in front of their house. The owners are suuuper friendly! They organized us a trip to the Isla de Plata (hike, snorkeling, turtles and lunch) with the taxi getting us to Puerto Lopez and bringing us back for 45 dollars per person. Quite night with sound of waves, very nice. Bathroom very clean.

This place is as described in other description. I got my player's card, registered and stayed with no problems. I also got gas at the Walmart 30 min away in Arkansas for $3.91.

Closed - no overnight parking or camping signs

Men’s bathroom was locked. Women’s bathroom was open. Lots of mosquitoes. Primitive camping.

Booked through Harvest Hosts. Family dairy farm with farm store open to the public. Ice cream, beef, yogurt.

FREE with electric, dump and water. There’s dumpsters, a bathroom (not the best- but hey it’s free), playground, small dog park, and two fire pits. Police drove through a few times. Felt safe. Very much appreciated!

We arrived on Saturday afternoon and got set up to spend the night only to have one of the park workers knock on our door at dusk and tell us that we had to leave before they locked the gates for the night.

stayed 1 night in our minivan. no one bothered us and at least 2 or 3 other vehicles stayed the night as well. still no "no" signs. traffic noise wasn't great but we dealt with it for the convenience.

water is slow. you will need pliers to open the spigot.

Go to this place. Charged 250 pesos for an oil change. I supplied the oil and filter. Greased the suspension, checked all fluids, difs etc. also fabbed a piece for a bed leg that I needed. Very happy with the service….family run operation.

Incredible local family! Most warmhearted people I met on this trip; simply amzing to meet them. They have a room for travellers, serve food and don't tell you a price. So you decide how much to give. Can't say how much I recommend this place!
Jonas also guides you up the vulcano, for a third of the price you pay in an agency. They have an organization of local guides, where guides are not exploited as they are with the agencies.

Tons of great camping options and amazing views, but at least where I was, there were nonstop bees which definitely killed the atmosphere.

Large rest area. Plenty of parking for all sizes. Facilities closed, but clean port a John’s. Plenty of picnic tables, some with shelters. Doesn’t seem heavily used. Road noise not bad on the truck side, even in the middle of the day. I didn’t stay overnight, but looks like a great option if you’re headed to the Cape, or otherwise.

Drive in site on Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife managed lands. There’s a dirt clearing / parking area right when you pull in for larger vehicles (there was a truck towing an RV parked in here with plenty of space when we arrived. There is an unmaintained road to your right that will take you to more informal campsites but only really suitable for 4wd vehicles / vehicles not too low. Fires are allowed but check when burn bans are in place as it gets dry and windy here early in the season.

Didn't stay, but no " no" signs. Suitable for van or camper, fire pit, right on reservoir, wooded and lovely.

Good place to stay, Overrall. Like they said, LOTS of trash. Pick up your trash when you leave people. Looks like it was used as dumpster. (Atleast Where I was) some glass laying around on the ground, be careful. Made it there in a Honda Civic, just a gravel road with dirt road pull offs, some more rough than others.
Cozy for the night though, wasn’t busy at all when I was there . Would recommend. Cows might visit, saw footprints right at my car the next morning. Road name is old woodruff road

One small pool. Like bath water that’s been sitting. Not my fave spot at all for a soak. but!!!! There is however a disc golf course if you follow the trail & warm springs runoff down. that is definitely worth checking out!!

Super touristy during the day...

This is an established BLM campground with approximately six spots on the canyon rim over looking for River. There is a trail leading down into the river which is good for flyfishing and brookies. Beautiful scenery coming in BLM has got permission passing through the private lands as long as you stay on the posted roads at this time there is no fee for staying in this campground.

Looked around at all options, this is the best by far. I got a cabana for 25usd. food from 6 to 16 usd. friendly, clean even has a pool! fan in room is good enough at night. Cool lil private bathroom.

Didn’t know how to edit our original post so checking in…We found out this morning that at 6200 feet it snows on Memorial Day Weekend.
Not a single car came down the road last night. Absolute peace and quiet.

several parking spots behind the building. overall a good spot to get a few hours rest.

As described there are a few camping spots here. I drove in about 3 miles and saw 2 or 3 spots to pullout. Some OHV traffic but its expected. Verizon LTE but seems to get worse the further back you go. Was useable at my coordinates but not great. May be more sites driving the various forest roads in the area. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean 🌲

A ways off the National Forest road. Surrounded by pines. A slightly bumpy road. But doable in my 2wd SUV. Fire ring and couple of places to turn around. If your rig is not too big. Nice and quiet. With a occasional cow or two grazing. Zero facilities and zero cell service.

Beautiful, easy to access spot along the road. Gorgeous panoramic views. Could hear and see the train in the distance. Easily accommodated our large rig. Enough room for several other large rigs to park and still have privacy. Fairly level. Road in was dirt, we’ll maintained, flat, and easy to navigate.

Good campground next to the Quatse River Inlet. We could use a tent site with our van, as we didn't need any hookup. It was $27,83 for us. Clean showers ($1 for 5min) and toilets. Firewood is available for $7. There are also Barbecues free to use.
Friendly Stuff highly recommended!

$22 for overnight RV parking prior to sailing day, only available mid-May through September. You have to arrive before midnight.
Nothing special abd not hookup but toilets available.
