There is a gate here. If it's open you may proceed into the Sierra National Forest. There are many roads and dispersed camping spots to choose from. Be advised that a high-clearance vehicle is preferable to completely navigate many of these roads.

Tons of spots available. Starlink works fine here. 3bars of version. Found morels in the skidder areas from logging. Elevation 5200-5400
Report Check-InFound a really nice spot in the NF up what looks like a logging road. Very quiet, only heard a few cars on the road nearby in the 2 nights we stayed.
We went straight past the gate and turned right at a little road marked 06A, high clearance and 4WD needed but it leads to a nice secluded spot up the hill. (we had a subaru outback)
Beautiful forest camping. Our coordinates was the first open area we found. Nice level spot with smart parking. 1-2 weak bars of Verizon.
Report Check-InAs described there are a few camping spots here. I drove in about 3 miles and saw 2 or 3 spots to pullout. Some OHV traffic but its expected. Verizon LTE but seems to get worse the further back you go. Was useable at my coordinates but not great. May be more sites driving the various forest roads in the area. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean 🌲
