Big concrete area in front of an abandoned hotel. You can park at any spot. There is a small music and art school and police station at the corner. A mid size market for needs and self service car wash (cheap) at the other corner. Friendly market has security cameras. Police is very nice and friendly. They said it is safe for stay overnigh unless you leave your valuables out of of the car. Very quiet at night. Parking area has street lights.
Good spot before or after Bukhara.

Came here cycling, 2 persons. We sent a message to the whatsapp number and the couple answered us that they were not at their place but his parents were there.
We slept under the roof of the garage.
Cold shower, wifi, potable water.
There is a dog.
Very kind persons.

Cycled along here in the evening and there were kids throwing rocks at me from the 50m high cliffs… could easily kill someone. Wear your helmet when in this area because there is not much else you can do other than to scream at them

Randomly found this camp site while driving along the forest service road. Another fire ring across the street with a trailhead. No signal on Verizon or AT&T.

Parking place for 1 overlander along a forest path. Very quiet and surrounded by trees.

A great place to top off your propane tanks. This is a Bulk filling station, but you can also do a propane bottle exchange as well

Perfekt stay for one night. Beautiful beach, no one around. Restaurant no longer open.

This old convent is really beautiful and if you've never seen anything like it before, the catacombs are cool to see. The entrance is 20 soles and it includes a tour guide (in both Spanish and English), the information the tour gives you is very basic, in case you want to know more about the place you can hire a private guide (they ask for a tip)

Was the second YPFB in town I tried. Unfortunately only con factura for me as a foreigner, but didn’t try really well to be honest. Paid 8.88 BOB/liter and they filled my car + jerrycan fully.

Very impressive crater and not touristic at all. Cool place to check out. The surrounding area is inhabited by Maasai. Local people directly came to ask for some money, usually there is no official fee to be payed. But as we stayed the night we gave them 10.000tsh.

While checking out the Mungu crater we decided to stay the night here. The area is surrounded by Masaai, therefore they wanted some money, we payed 10000tsh to the chief.

We had all the time people from the Masaai tribe around, they are super friendly and gave us insides about there traditions and culture. It was a nice authentic experience. 4x4 is needed to drive all the way up.

This is not a campground, just a designated spot where you can park for the night. It's a really cute city park with playgrounds (about 4), a pavilion, bathrooms, trash, a dog run, a trail around the perimeter, cornfields to the west, and a train track and cemetery to the east. There weren't any trains the night we were there. It's free and there is a dump station (also free) less than a mile away at McNabb Park (see iOverlander for exact location - there are no signs).
Don‘t miss the cinnamon rolls from the “Hearthstone Oven” bakery & cafe in Ithaca.

pull outs big enough for probably 3 vans on each side. no "no" signs. stayed the night fine. medium traffic because it's the beginning of road but all other spots on this road was taken. it was dry but I can see this spot being bad if it rained recently. Had 1 bar

Le mec a demandé à un de ses amis de faire la recharge de notre bouteille US. Ça a mis au moins 30mn pour recharger 2 kilos... et il ne savait même pas où en était notre bouteille au final! 5.000 le kilo, c'est du vol!

The guy asked one of his friends to refill our US bottle. It took at least 30 minutes to refill 2 kilos... and he didn't even know where our bottle was in the end! 5,000 per kilo is a steal!

laundromat with cafeteria, you do it yourself. It's great, the washing machines and dryers are super big, they fit a lot of clothes. It takes 1 hour (30 minutes for each machine) if you bring the soap it costs 3,000 if not the soap costs 500. The truth is a very good option. It is on the main route so you can park perfectly at the door
