Had an overnight stay in camper. Great place with level stone secluded sites with braai, table and water/electricity. Very very nice. Got here at 2.00pm. Set up camp and shot over to the Valley of desolation which is well worth a trip.

There is flush water (not potable) at this dump. But the charge is now $30 for RV’s

As described beautiful big green grass spot. It seems that out of market days it is also usted to park big camper trolleys. Nearby is an RV Park. We stayed one night, total silence and relax

We parked in the lot and hiked to Refugio Aleman using trail on Mapsme. Once over the hill and out of sight of the ski area it was a really pretty walk. Didn't stay the night.

Tried to get in the park but all tickets taken. You have to reserve online and they run out of space. Good website has maps of trails, how to camp, rules. 3500 for an adult. Would have been great!

Nice clean showers. Started very hot and gradually cooled. I had to adjust temp a bit but it stayed comfortable without adjusting to full hot.
Currently open 8 am - 10 pm weekdays, 9-6 Saturday, closed Sunday.
Good-sized Yukon government-run visitor centre open longer hours with very friendly and helpful staff.

Pay by QR code works for US phone, somehow it wouldn't work with canadian carrier, I called the phone number and they arranged for me to pay at the booth inside the mall and place the ticker on my windshield.

Amazing place, we spent 5 nights. Feels like beeing in the Mediterranean but with lots of mountains around. Sand terrain, be careful. Almost no body around, absolute amazing nights. Average internet reception. There's a domo resort next to the beach and they seen to have an open wifi.

Nice place for the night. i spend there 2 days. many friendly poeple there especially during the night. huge beach easy to find à spot in the front sea. swimming not allowed.

place is on hill with perfect view. but we have a little windy. nobody here and many place is here. level is perfect. and signal for internet is ok for work

Really cool spot to camp in if you have been crossing state lines as we have. Checked out another spot in Fulton MO. Awesome spot but riddled with ticks! None here! Drove 96 miles for this spot and we are glad we did. Directions were wonky when we copied he gps coordinates but we found it. Had to search for a level spot. Found one. Full hookups switch 30a and 50a to choose from if you do not have an adapter for your older rig. Water and sewage on site in each spot. $35 bucks is worth it. Full showers bathrooms with new hot water heaters. 🤙🏻happy trails! Campground host came by shortly after we arrived to check us in and put a sticker on our rig. There are big spaces here. Everything from a tent to a full blown diesel pusher coach. We are in a cab over with a chase rig. Plenty of room.

This place is a rest area with a shelter and firepit. It is located on a small beach that is facing west so it has great sunsets. it is located below a ridge that shelter from the wind in all directions except west. It is possible to park the car or pitch some tents on the beach.

We weren't allowed to camp at Palms of Baghdad on a Saturday as there was a big event so we went to this hotel.

Price is 50.000 for a double room, breakfast included. Lobby very nice but once you enter the room it is a bit disappointing. But hey, hot water, pretty fast WiFi, airconditioning, and a decent bed, what more do you need?

Hotel Diwan asked the same price for a double room but we chose for this hotel as it is a bit further away from the main street so more quiet.

This is the branch migration control. They advice me to go get the sticker Visa on my passport before I would be stamped out if I want to use the ringsco Transit speed boat. The officer said a travelers was returned back last year because he went to get the sticker visa because he left only with the e visa print out. So they was a pause in stamping out until it was decided to have your sticker visa on your passport before stamping out. Contact John the Boat manager on WhatsApp +234913506373 to sort things out

Here is the ringsco company warehouse and garage where you can pack your motorcycle if you want to take a brake for your trip and also if you want to go about the sticker visa process.

1) Riding from lagos to oron they was some few check points only 1 stop and the police men where friendly asking, I had a little problem understanding their english but I have to answer to my best of understanding. In a few seconds I set off and arrived in the yard where I met John the boat transit manager and went about to get my customs documents done before left to Calabar for the sticker visa via a ferry with Jennifer.

2) After 3 hours we came back and to an hotel. I paid €300 which covers the motorcycle and my me, accomodations, Lunch and brakefast and some bottles of bear, Paper work, loading and unloading of the bike by both in Nigeria and in Cameroon.

4) The next morning Jennifer lead me to the Port where for the migration and then a Customs Lady have to look through my documents to confirm my departure approval.

5) The bike was loaded on the boat at the Jamestown port where we set off with other 3 locals passengers. I was informed by John that I have no bride to pay to the coastal guards except the locals who are traveling to Cameroon without a travel documents. After 3 check points we set to the sea and after 3 hours and some few minutes we arrive Idenua port. John already gave me 10,000CFA in cash to give to the boys. Mr samuel the boat transit manager in Cameroon really helped to supervise the onloading by the boys so as to avoid damanges since the environment was rocky.

After which the police did searching on my bags, before going to the customs for my cdp. I think the process in Cameroon on arrival takes more time than in Nigeria before departure the whole process took about 2 hours.

Now called Oasis camping. Fantastic overland camp to prepare/recover from Iona. Mwana is running the place and wants to improve the tired facilities for Overlanders. She and her uncle Luis are SO helpful. Speaks fluent English and Portuguese. Bar and restaurant on beach are great. Also space for big rigs.

we stayed a few hours at this place until we were told that this place is within the near-border area where camping is not allowed. The owner of the nearby Klimovka tour base allowed us to camp for free at the entrance of his estate. Very friendly.

Lovely quite guest farm with self catering cottages. Beautiful Klein Karoo setting. Friendly and caring staff.

Finally a campsite suitable for tents! Camping under olive trees on grass.
Big rigs have to park in front of the sanitary facilities, but it has beautiful flowers as well.
18€ for 2 people in a van, electricity included.
Hot shower 1€/4min, washing machine 5€, dryer 5€.
Bring many 1€ coins as the reception is mostly closed and there are no shops around to find some change!
When reception is open, you can buy the olives you are camping around and also their oil.
Very relaxed atmosphere!
