Just outside west entrance to Capitol Reef NP. Quiet, great views, access to trails. No services. 2bars of 5G.
Report Check-InStayed here two nights and it was great! Very little freeway noise and much less busy than the parking lot that's just 1/4 mile closer to the park. There were two other campers the first night and none the second. The Road in is rough, but the driveway on the right as you come in that Loops around is fine. Could fit 5-6 campers. I stayed in a truck camper and had 3 bars AT&T
Report Check-Inquiet place right off the main road AT&t service was good Dusty in the wind. several sites for you to pull into some have some rock campfire rings
Report Check-InAlthough the park and BLM next door are completely full this holiday weekend, we were the only ones here overnight. Local folks hiking and biking during the day but we had the place to ourselves after dark. Great cell service. The trail behind the fence is nice, especially when the ones in the park are crowded. Check it out! Pick up your trash. Leash your dogs.
Report Check-InArrived about 4pm to an empty place. Filled up about 7pm. Absolutely perfect place to camp for the night. When coming in from the East, slow down. Road is like 5 feet after a ridge. 2 strong bars of LTE Verizon 30 download 17 upload
Report Check-InWonderful spot to camp. No fire rings or services, but fairly flat and the views are incredible. I was the only person here the night I stayed. It can be pretty windy, FYI.
Report Check-InVery nice spot with good cellphone service and little highway noise. The road is dirt and a bit steep, but perfectly manageable. We got a coating of snow (~1/2") and managed fine with our RWD dually. Rain and mud could make things much more difficult, though, so beware of that. Don't come in too hot off the highway as there's a bit of a drop from the asphalt onto the dirt road.
