Small fairgrounds in the town of Minneapolis, KS. 8 RV sites with 30 amp hookups. Water nearby but not at all sites. Across the street from the city park. Backs up to a small river. There is also a dump station on the grounds.

Seven nights here and everything was fine. You get some noise from the flight announcements, which are reproduced in the parking lot for some Bolivian reason. If you use the bathrooms in the airport take your toilet paper with you.

Small square across the gas station and next to the Tourist Information Center.

Lots of “permanent” van life livers here, but overall a safe place. Police come by monthly to kick everyone out according to the locals.

Beautiful location. 3 obvious sites. 2 are large for multiple vehicles and tents. 1 small. Tough to level but work well.

Rooms with 2 beds and electricity. Wc ouside. 30 soles with thermal bath for One person. Bike in the room.

Simple and clean

a long picnic table above carma site where they used to explore the universe with radio telescopes. All gone now but a beautiful spot with views of deep spring lake and Southern Fish Lake Valley. Can also see the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Massive sign at the entrance of the car park strictly forbidding overnight RV or truck parking. Perhaps some bad apples have spoiled the bunch :(

Propane has went down to $2.46/gallon for the summer.

Good find, very quiet place even in the weekend. Boat launch is used for people to go to remote cabanas at the lake. The lake side makes it somewhat cooler on hot days.
Access road indeed doable for any vehicle, just take your time.
We stayed 2 days and nobody bordered us, safe place with beautiful views and star gazing.

There’s “no overnight parking” signs in their actual parking lot, but there’s a level gravel area right before it. Parked overnight no problem. Highway noise, per usual…

Water spigot left of ice machine in front. Asked before using, attendant noted flow is low. Took 5 minutes for 5 gallons. But,
free (bought fuel too).

we went in a little further near the mining area to get off the open hill. still got too much wind. it's miserably hot this time of year so we're moving on tomorrow. quiet and safe. 2wd no problem.

We arrived in the dark at 18:30. Guards were coming after 15 min and was very welcoming and let us park just outside park. We was already installed. I’m quiet sur you can ask to go inside. Was 0 degrés at night. Pretty high here 4300m. But we was already adapted. No wind. Safe, not very flat but levellers is ok.

Washers now $4 and $6.

Pretty clean. Easy on a busy Sunday, Moab was a zoo. This is very laid back part of town. The Book Cliff lodge across the street looks rather suspect.

Maverik station and convenience store. Dump station at rear of property. Easiest way to access is to go through the large vehicle fuel pumps on the west side of the store. Dump station will be visible to the right. No potable water at dump station.

As advertised. A top of the world view!! High wind advisory during my overnight so only stayed the night. Otherwise it would be tempting to do multiple nights. Fire ring. 12 miles is paved with periodic potholes. Last 2 miles is well groomed dirt/gravel with small me washboarding. Any vehicle can manage. Total of 20 miles from downtown Moab.

Stayed one night, a little loud on Saturday night but nothing terrible. Parking lot clears out for the most part overnight. We were the only van campers. Make sure to check out the park nearby and walk to the downtown area

Great hiking and horse riding trails. $5 day use fee, see photos for other fee info. I came on a Sunday evening and used the amenities but did not stay overnight. Light traffic noise from highway. 3 bars T-Mobile.

$4 per regular load wash, $3.50 standard dryer. Newer facility. Soda vending machine, tables, bathroom and arcade game.

Marking this as wild camping because no one was here to check for fees when I came on a Sunday - able to take a hot shower, charge my devices, and go for a nice hike during the evening. Didn’t end up staying overnight in case anyone came to check for fees. Maybe try your luck. Beautiful area.

Charlie has been hosting football tours for over eight years. He shared heaps of information about the team and the game.

Parked in the back. A lot of rvs/campers here. Street sweeper was doing its thing. No WiFi from the back but quite nite.

we loved it here, we did as explained here, we said that we were going to Pelicano's restaurant and went to the pool without problem, very refreshing.
