MaishaKhalisi is the most unique and eco friendly place in Moshi. The restaurant was built in 2021 by natural materials which gives the place a very laid-back and relaxing atmosphere. We now start to also offer camping for trucks and overlanders with rooftop tents.
As the place is at the edge of the city, it is very quiet and surrounded by nature.
Banana trees just beside the house and passion fruit cover the restaurant. We offer a big range of food and a lot of different drinks.
You have a stunning view of Kilimanjaro and if you are lucky you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
There are always two security guards at the facility.

Lovely place full of good vibes, rooms are not open yet but camping on the lawn is perfect, and the view on Kilimanjaro from terrasse is breathtaking. Thanks welcoming us. We had great time and great food as well !
Report Check-InThe best view of Mount Kilimanjaro in Moshi! This place is finalizing their rooms and will be open in a few weeks but they let us camp infront on the lawn which is a perfect informal campsite set up ($5ppn).It is a beautiful wooden structure lodge with the friendliest people. This is truely a place to visit to relax, walk around in coffee plantasions, experience the cultural self-made place and have an amzaing view of the Mount Kilimanjaro!

Report Check-InJust to make it clear, this is a great restaurant with a campsite. Not a lodge or a camp with restaurant. Food is good and they get a lot of tourist groups to eat here. Nice vibe with live music but not loud or too late.
Views on Kilimanjaro are great if the weather permits.
They have just added a new boma area and pizza oven and are currently working on new ablutions and rooms underneath the restaurant.
We stayed on a nice grass field in front of the restaurant with a view on the Kilimanjaro.

Report Check-InWe were disappointed about this place. The place had an unpleasant smell because of the animals around, kitchen for dishes to clean usable but not more, showers were cold and toilets very simple. They brought a bin with hot water to the showers but not really satisfying. So they have hot water for themselves but not for clients. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic but nothing had been finished. We did not go to the restaurant because of the impression of the kitchen. Could be a wonderful place in the future. The panorama with mount Kili is really great.

Very friendly owner who explained how he has built the restaraunt from recycled timber. Nice flat spot to park with Kilimanjaro summit in view. Food at the restaurant was delicious, well provisioned bar and coffee comes in a big pot. Gorgeous singing and nice vibe from a small acoustic crew. Basic facilities (no bathroom) but attentive owner with plans to develop further to include a bathroom. Road to get here off main road is 1st gear only as a bit rough

We very much enjoyed staying two nights there!!! Muksin is so friendly and helpful. We loved to hang out in the restaurant. They charge 7$ pppn.
