A pull out with a fantastic view. The Dirt Rd., Inn was only just a little rough. We did fine with our truck and trailer.

Super endroit, bord d’autoroute (Gratuit). Sur le terrain ce n’est pas gratuit.
Bon restaurant, piscine 35 pesos. Parfais pour une nuit 🙂

Fabulous free camping. No amenities, the view is vast, beautiful, and changing through the day. Huge flat level parking area just off Palm Canyon Rd, and it’s easy to get far from the road. 1 bar ATT and 5Ge. Minimal shade, but quite breezy and comfortable. Small amount of vehicles passed during the day. Great place for one night, or several. Pack it in, and pack it out, please.

Beautifully clear. The Gendarmería at c. 35km up from the Las Flores aduana will tell you about this place (and others); I had a lunch stop there (cyclist).

Hoedspruit is a pleasant town, a 45-minute drive from the Orpengate in Kruger Park. This is a beautiful lodge on the greenbelt. We enjoyed all the wildlife that passes by while you lie by the pool. Giraffe, zebra, impala and much more. There is plenty of choice during the buffet breakfast. We had a wonderful massage at the lodge. In the evening we had a pizza experience (make and bake your own pizza in a wood oven) with other guests. Was a nice experience.

Excellet gas station, huge parking lot. Feels very safe, $10 (mexican) for the showers, very nice place to spend a nitght

Lovely spot a little ways off the highway. Lots of locals fish here. An enjoyable ambiance. I imagine it will be a quiet sleep tonight.

small campground, free for 3 days. there's no established sites, but there's lots of room to spread out, but very little privacy. bathrooms were closed.

Found a pull off spot just off of the forest service road. Mostly flat. Backed in. Did not hear much from the highway.

Nice campground, flush toilets, hot showers. We stayed one night; $20/night electric/water. Restrooms were not clean. Needed to shower but passed; so many giant dead bugs. Sites are mostly level, gravel area with fire pit, picnic table & grill. A lot of sites were closed off due to a water or power issue.

Showers with hot water. Also water to drink from dispenser. They let me camp in the back. There is place under roof if rain. Arrived with bike. Safe, police there all night. All good.

Perfect right next to route 40. Take the exit to route 29 and there directly you have a large piece of fairly flat ground right at the water (Rio Chico). We were heading south and saw two camper vans already standing there and as it was getting dark already decided to stop here as well. Seems regularly used but really perfect.
