Description

An interesting safari-themed park including safari animals, water parks, and 5 different hotels. Think safari Disneyland of Colombia. 13000 to park, 36000, 50000, or 70000 pesos for different levels of entry. We didn't go in but could be fun. Pablo Escobars old estate apparently.

UPDATE 2023: Check website for prices: 80-150K for 3 day pass + 24K per day for parking (it’s totally worth it!)

Hacienda Nápoles (Spanish for "Naples Estate") was an estate built and owned by Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar in Puerto Triunfo.

Today, it's an amusement park and zoo, as well as a museum. Visit: https://haciendanapoles.com

Throw some zinc on your nose, grab a floppy hat, flowered shirt and head out for a day of childlike fun! We had the best time here! The park is really big, tickets are valid for 3 days. You could easily spend 2-3 days to cover everything. Generally we don’t like the idea of zoos, but considering the animals are rescued, they have a lot of space and stimulation, and many are just free roaming (zebras, ostriches, farm animals, etc) it was pretty well done. Tickets are kind of expensive, but just go for it. Dinosaur waterpark is for kids, the Adventura Aquatica park is pretty good with a big fake waterfall, but the Pangea park has big, legit slides. We went on a Monday even though Google said it was closed, it was not busy at all. You drive your own car through the huge property to the different mini-parks, which is awesome to bring your own food and drinks. So fun, check it out! Website will have up-to-date prices, but 24K to bring your car into the park, then ranges from 80-150K for adult tickets. Worth it for sure if you like to be silly and have fun, or if you have kids don’t miss it!

Added photo for updated prices for 2022. Entry level safari ticket option is at 54,500 for an adult, goes up from there if you include the water parks. This doesn’t include parking, parking is now 22,000 for a car and 12,000 for a moto. (You ride/drive around a big loop and park at the many attraction spots)
Don’t let the prices put you off, this place is absolutely huge, we didn’t even see everything in one day. So many animals. Ticket is valid for three days but water parks only one.
It is ridiculously hot, bring plenty of water as we could only buy way-over priced half litre bottles inside the park.
It’s well organised and has a very commercial theme-park feel, very popular with locals, don’t attempt to come here during Colombian public holidays, even weekends proceed with caution, it gets busy. We’re there on a Friday and enjoyed having few people around.
Don’t forget your vax card to get in also.

Went on a Thursday when everything was half priced. It was packed! They only let us in to the water park portion one time for 45 minutes. Park next to the ticket place and buy your ticket. Then you can drive around the park in your own vehicle. It’s a lot of walking and not all in the shade. They have a small Jeep taxi service to take you around, but they’re not very reliable. For $8 US it was worth it.
