Leeds Canyon Dispersed Camping site 5. Large area to pull in a small trailer

Report Check-In

Greetings!
This is the third or fourth time that I've stayed here.
Like others have said, this place fills up quickly.
This trip, I stayed the first night up at the next site, # 6, and moved here the next morning.
I just got a visit from the forest ranger, who gave me a map. They do patrol this area, so it's best to play by the rules and not overstay the 16 days.
And yes, this campsite is absolutely beautiful!

Fills up pretty quick, I showed up at 8:30pm and thankfully someone was cool with us sharing the spot. We parked right near the road in our short skoolie. Relatively flat and one bar of T-Mobile. Quiet and little noise besides a few vehicles driving by.

Road in was extremely easy, some washboard but not terrible, ground was fairly level and can definitely fit a big rig, this place fills up quickly I got here at 8:30 and this spot and many others closer to the bottom were already taken so I had to drive further up, the place and spaces are huge and beautiful, lots of space between sites, Id definitely come back and stay here again!

Nice and quite. Level. We pulled up in van and trailer right before dark, and where able to park here (next to other people). Good for longer rights like ours, since it’s a pull trough. Amazing views. You pass by a lot of beautiful homes a few miles before this spot. It’s a very nice place to camp. Sign says 16 days stay max. This is our 2nd time staying here. Both times during the week. Keep in mind all the spots are always taken. Or people leave their tents on there to save their spots for the weekend. So you might not find a spot.
