Description

Permit is required for all trust land camping, but it’s a fast process that is instantly approved. There’s a lot of sketchy BLM land around Phoenix, so paying a one time fee for nice land + privacy is very worth it!

My Toyota Camry was able to get deep in this area with no issues, but there are a lot of big holes sporadically so be careful.

If you go in at least half a mile there are a bunch of good spots tucked behind small tree clusters that provide shade in the evening. A few rock fire rings found in random places. Beautiful sunset views of the nearby mount range.

Don’t forget to pack everything back out with you!

Latest Check-Ins

Nice, opened, big rig friendly. Right off 79. plenty of room and flat. Just mind the gate. Keep it closed for the cows.

Report Check-In

Couldn’t enter, there was a lock on the gate, not sure why, no signage to explain.

Only stayed for one quick overnight before hitting the road again. This time of year there's hardly anyone here. Conveniently located along the highway but not too loud. Plenty of large spots for rigs of all sizes.

Such a beautiful land this time of year. loved being here and would definitely return.
Verizon = 2 bars
Walmart, etc. 50 minutes away.
