Cheery guy, invited us in to warm up and share mate. Then when we asked if we could bring our stove inside to cook he said only in return for the right tip. But he still let us camp out the back. Generator noise and vehicles stopping to use the WiFi so not the most peaceful but you’re really only here for the wind shelter

Good place to spend the night. Drove up the road a bit to get away from the main road. Had mobile service and could hardly hear any road noise.

They can fill gas tank on your rv. they are the only one in the area. i try many other place and there is nothing except bottle filling.

Lovely 10 sites camp pn the bank of Chobe River. Very clean ablutions x 2. Site maintained daily - raked and bins. Site bumber allocatexwhen booking but seems to change with Kofi (sp) intervention . Allocated sits 8. Artived midday, 40 degrees not a tree. Some low trees at the bottom but not great to use as no view. When we got back to camp at 7pm, we were told to go to site 1 by other campers and someone was on 8. No idea. Would be far easier to cjose site on arrival as everyobe has differenr needs, eg mirning/evening shade , sun for solar panels, close to ablutions etc. Neefless to say, its stunning with game drive routes both east and west to occupy you fir a few days. Unbeluevable elephanr, lion, raptors, water birds and very haopy to see sable antelope. Apologies its P356 ppn for SADC

Sweet little kitsch type Cajun/Mexican fusion restaurant & oyster bar. Should be good for at least 24 hours, I'm sure if you patronize the business daily perhaps longer. Better vibe than the Walmart around the corner which is the only one in Lufkin and is crazy busy. Best for vans or truck campers but a small towing setup probably ok. NOT FOR BIG RIGS!!

It’s true that when you turn right before the gate, guides will be waiting for you. There will be more at the gate and even more when you will have your camp up.

All the guides where friendly, not too invasive but… they will not take no for an answer.

When we arrived late I tired to explain them that we only wanted to go without a guide to the waterfall.
A few were here again the next morning.

When I explained again that we wanted to go alone, after some time, they said it was OK but we bedded to register first in the book at the forestry office.
They took us there and the second act started with the man in charge on the precious book.

He strongly advised us to take a guide, then refused to open the book for us to register.

It’s not our first show so we exited the office (without registering of course) and carried on to the falls following maps.me.

Again, their are only trying to make a living and nobody was angry or even unpleasant but be prepared for heavy discussion if you want to go alone !

It’s not only a campsite but also a conference center, they also have a restaurant and chalets.

As we are non resident they wanted 6$ pppn, which currently is around 10500MWK. We asked if we could get a price at 6000MWK, they accepted so quickly that you could probably get a better price !

It’s very open and a lot of people are just walking by but most will offer their services as guides, car cleaners, laundry boy, you name it…

Everybody is friendly and not too invasive.

The campsite itself is a big open flatish grass area, the trees and flowers around are well maintained and we felt good the 2 nights we spent there.
The toilets are close to the camp area, where there is the tap, clean and had paper.
The shower is a bit further away, less maintained it looks like but okay. There was not hot water.

It looks to be the best out of the only few options there are !

Great place as mentioned before, price is still CLP 6.000 per person.

R325 per night for two adults in one vehicle. Credit card accepted. Perfectly pleasant stopover.

On the south road to Kuelap coming from Nogalcucho, we stopped in this little stone quarry. It is the last suitable space for sleeping before the end of the road (the parking lot of the archaeological site is sloping and really tiny). This place is very quiet. I recommend a high clearance vehicle. Claro signal really very weak.

Huge casino parking lot with several other trucks and camper RV’s staying the night. Lots of room for us to navigate our 37ft class A and toad. Very clean, quiet and safe. They clearly have no issue with over-nighters with signs that say max parking 72hrs. Easily will stay here again.

Excelente local para pernoitar. Próximo ao ParkShopping Canoas. Funcionamento 24hs. Com água e energia elétrica. Grandes equipamentos são possíveis. Priscila e esposo muito atenciosos e prestativos.

a ton of signs on the way up saying "no trespassing" and so on..., but when you reach the gravel turn-off, it isn't bad.
we went up and kept left at the 3-way fork and found some awesome spots that are clear away from other people and a beautiful view. definitely still some bones and carcasses on the way up, but we had no issues with animals. I'd keep an eye out though.
either way, great spot - no rednecks with guns in sight.

We came in here after dark and were hoping to stay for several days but it was pretty trashy and we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the bus during the day. It was ok for one night…several loud dogs kept barking randomly through out the night and we heard people cussing for awhile. It’s also close to an army airstrip so there were planes flying overhead.

Nice hostel with areas to chill out, kitchen and clean bathrooms you can use. They also provide WiFi and drinking water to refill. Only one or max. to tents have space here. We paid 40 MYR for one night (2 people). Troji the owner is a nice guy, that gave us a lot of recommendations for exploring the area.

I'm from Asheville and am in town for doctor appointments. I stopped at Walmart for groceries and came back to organize my van with no intent of staying there. I got a knock on my van just a little after 8pm telling me I had to leave. He knew I'd been there an hour and a half. He was really nice and I told him I'm from Asheville and know better than to try staying in that area even if Walmart allowed it. He told me that even with the Asheville City police presence and the multiple camera units the crime there is still out of control. He also said tractor trailers are no longer allowed because one dumped grey water into the river on the property and Walmart got fine $50,000 by the city for it. Stay away from here and be nice to the guy if you get a knock... he's just doing his job. He said you can park at Kohl's and at least there are some truckers parked there to hopefully help with safety.

Two showers for $7. you got what you paid for. These are shared showers for both the women's locker room and the men's locker room. no luxury other than a nice hot shower!

Potable water across from day use bathrooms (flush toilets). Faucet is not one you can attach a hose to to fill RV tank though. Quite large, maybe too big for a water bandit too. We filled our 5 gallon jugs and then into RV tank. There are faucets around campsite as well. Dump station is $10, but if you pay $14 to stay the night its included.

Good place to stop for the evening. No issues. Just off the interstate. Only a few other vehicles.

We spend 3 nights here. Excellent place to get out of the heat of the coast. It is hot in the day but the river is very refreshing and at night it refreshes and sleeps very well. Several people told us that it is very quiet and so it was. We feel safe. There are no facilities.
The last 500 meters are gravel, in the dry season the road is ok.

Good, it works well with good pressure and tap to connect a hose.

Qualquer rua da cidade é tranquila de estacionar e pernoitar, a gente dormiu uma noite ao lado da igreja e foi super silencioso, porém quem não quer dormir na rua, tem o estacionamento da igreja que é pago e tem apoio com água e energia!

80 INR for the whole day. The fortress and the white palace are stunning! It is worth visiting them. We didn't try to sleep, I don't know if they let it stay overnight.

super good pizzas. thin dough and abundant filling. the large 110 bowl pizza (giant) and the small 60 bowl pizza. the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. but the restaurant remains open. easy street parking. the restaurant is in the hotel.

super bonnes pizzas. pâte fine et garniture abondante. la grande pizza 110 bols (géante)et la petite 60 bols. la cuisine ferme à 21 h mais le restaurant reste ouvert. stationnement facile dans la rue. le restaurant est dans l’hôtel.
