This location is incorrect. There are no camping signs all around here. You’re only allowed to camp in the north of the park. Nice spot to come spend the day though!

Great campground! We stayed in the A section (with electricity and water taps) for 260pp ($7). Not busy on weekdays, would avoid this section on weekends. In the B sites (no water/electric 210pppn), there are tons of awesome secluded spots, just drive around until you find your own little slice of heaven! No beach views, only forest spots. The bathroom block we used (on iOverlander) were cleaned daily and had hot water. Our site had a fire pit and there are shops throughout the park that sell necessities. There are reasonably priced cabins for rent also that looked nice. You don’t need to stay 3 nights, that’s just what you pay if you lose your receipt. Free for day visits!

Delicious French pastries, lots of vegan and gluten free items as well and fresh sourdoughs. We had a coffee sourced from Veracruz, Mexico, chocolate stuffed croissant, apple streusel roll and hot from the oven sourdough bread. They are also starting pizza nights once a week. The owners/bakers share they are a multicultural shop and they speak English well. DELICIOSO

The only spot we found that wasn't too muddy to get to after some rain/snow melt. Mostly quiet, you can hear cars drive over the cattle great but it's not bad. While it's not far from the main road, it's tucked away and you couldn't see our van from the road. Decent enough att, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

Everything below is correct. Also, you can now buy SOAT in the same building, and for our landcruiser (officially a 4 door 5 seater) it was $35.00 for a whole year (pretty sure the guy added 2 bucks tip for himself as we paid 37. but form says 35). $12.00 for one month.
We arrived at 8:15 am on a Wednesday and we were the only ones here.
Tried for more than 90 days but the guy wouldn't even let us explain why, so 90 it was.
Super easy organized border. Best one we have crossed in the whole trip

Very beautiful road around the Kilimanjaro.
We began in Himo and finished in Boma Ngombe. On a sunny day you could see it perfectly.
Almost everything paved, only 45 km in the north-west part (around this place) are not paved, but you could make them in 1 hour +/-.
And it is totally free.
Enjoy it.

When we arrive there was a police car parked in the spot. I parked next to it and went asking if it was allowed to park overnight. He said that it was ok for him but I could be kicked out by an other officer. We decided to stay. Lots of noise from the planes, helicopters and cars passing by (day and night for the cars). Lot of broken glass, garbage. This place is in the open next to the road. We woke up at 3:30 AM at a suspicious sound like a car driving in the gravel. We didn’t found what it was. Next time we will find a another place to stay. 2 other vans on the spot. Good At&t signal

NOT RECOMENDED
We tried to exchange our oil filter here and get our gear box repaired. They wanted to charge us an extraordinary amount of money. We refused to take the offer and wanted to get the spare parts. Suddenly there where no spare pats available any more.

Ivory Coast -> Ghana

First building to your right is customs. They put the data of your CdP in the computer but don’t stamp.
Next step is immigration to get exit stamp (slightly behind customs).
You then park your vehicle after the big building that looks like a huge bus station. Walk into the hall to the end, go upstairs, take third door on the left to stamp Carnet.
Ready to go to Ghana.
First step on Ghana side is to get a white paperslip with your vehicle data in the green container on the right corner. They need your CdP and driving licence.
Drive downhill, left building is immigration. First get yourself and your vehicle listed in a book, then go to the left side of the house to fill out the immigration form (outside) and get passport stamped (inside).
Then walk to the opposite side of the house for customs. They need the CdP and the white paperslip you got in the green container.
Done! When exiting the border area, hand out the white to the officer, give him time to check and off you go!

I needed to charge my Bluetti after the 12v cord broke and found this park on Maps. There are around 6 RV hookup sites behind a grey utility building. 30amp and 20amp, water, and what looked like sewer as well. There is an office in a big red barn but there seems to be nobody here. Bathrooms at the back of the office are open and there is a shower inside. Could find no info online on how to pay. Charged my bluetti in the wall outlet outside the bathrooms but didn’t stay because I am passing through and needed to drive further.
