Basically an open flat area off Pegleg Rd. There are a lot of rigs here including one fairly far off who seems to think that everyone else likes his taste in country music. Scenery is wide open, with room for any size rig. Lots of level places to park, and the sandy ground isn’t too hard on my dog’s feet. We saw a pit privy in a similar area just up the road. Breezy. Some road noise, but not loud. 1 bar ATT and adequate LTE. Not bad for the price (free).

Quiet not many other people warm during the day and cool in the evening. We’re here in March with a light breeze. We spent the night and enjoyed ourselves in peace and serenity. Open desert no shade great visibility and scenery.

We are in the the second Hal Campground area. Tents and rigs under 22 feet. Right in Colorado river. Pit Toilets. 1 ATT bar but Starlink works great . Soft road noise but river sound is relaxing.
Picnic Tables and Fire rings. $10 with interagency pass.

Great gravel car park off the main road. We didn’t notice the noise from the traffic.

Experiência não foi boa. Espaço não é muito grande e depois das 17h começa encher. Paramos era 17:15h com barraca de teto e trailer. Abastecemos, e escolhemos nosso lugar. Ficamos por ali, todo mundo vendo e o pátio lotando, até um funcionário chegar às 20h e dizer que não podia ficar onde estávamos. Não saimos procurar outro local pelo horário mas com o pátio agora lotado de caminhões tivemos que ir pra uma área bem afastada do posto.

It's a family home, that rent the room with private bathroom. Nice, quite and clean. In march 2024, $12000 ARS per night.

Clean and fancy by our standards coming from Tajikistan. I think there are other hotels around accepting foreigners but this is the cheapest we found. They gave us a discount so we paid ¥230.
Wifi is decent. Bicycles are kept in a safe place for us.

Lovely spot next to the lake. This is a place where people fish and collect water so you will meet local people, but they are really friendly and there is lots of space to camp. Nice spot for a sunrise over the water. Road noise is minimal.

Parking at lake. The view is lovely. The road is just behind but not many cars at night. Both the local leader and police came to check on us and said we could stay. Stayed one night, we were the only ones after sunset.
