Nice spot to spend the night in a Van. The view from the beach is really nice. But you are very exposed, there are no facilities around.

We came to neil to fix a few things on our gmc camper van. He was able to get us the parts we need and did a great job. Neil speaks decent english which is a nice bonus and was very fair with his prices. Overall he is super friendly as well as his son and got us back on our way. Highly recommend!

We were given a very friendly welcome. There are very clean and warm showers, one for men and one for women, each combined with a toilet. The space for the camper is rather small, but there are about 10 cabañas and it seems as if this is the main business. About 10 minutes walk to the village center.
We paid 40k for 2 people with a camper.

Stay here for a couple of nights! It’s super safe but fairly busy so we couldn’t really cook outside of our van! But there are plenty of restaurants and also lots of place to rent surf boards, would definitely recommended to get in the sea!!

This is a space that supports the traveler and the artisan, it is a restaurant with a cafeteria that allows you to work and sell your crafts and take advantage of the weekends when a market is set up right in front

A small gas station wher one or two campers may park (6.5 m for us). Very friendly owner who let us park and gave us electricity. Close to the road but not that noisy a night.

Great breakfast and reasonably priced. Good local place that is quick to keep your coffee mug topped up. If the place is full, it’s worth the wait.

¡My stay was amazing! Jaime and Melany are wonderful hosts, they have four lovely dogs and their cat Chamoy is the best. They have them quite well educated and they respect all time. The view they have of the sea is incredible, plus everything is impeccable, the bathroom is perfect, they have hot water, very good internet. The camper has everything you need and the camping area is perfect. They also have surfboards for rent and the waves are so good for spending the morning surfing. Jaime and Mel were attentive to us at all times and also gave us delicious tomatoes from their garden. I definitely want to return and highly recommend it.

Couple small spots right over the road. Decent river access. No toilets - must bring your own. Bring your own fire pit as well. Some day use by locals for fishing

We have stayed at this beach three times, the last time for nearly three months, in a 7.5-meter van, as a couple with our dog. For context, we need electricity because we work during the week.

This place is simply wonderful, the most beautiful campsite we have seen in Mexico:
- The beach is clean and the view is magnificent.
- The hosts are exceptional, very helpful. They have turned this place into a true paradise.
- The beach has Wi-Fi over several hundred meters.
- The place is pet-friendly.
- The showers are almost always hot.
- At night, the starry sky is superb; you can observe constellations.

I have no negative points to highlight about this location.

Moreover, to avoid confusion for future van-lifers, I wish to address a previous comment from a lady who mentioned that the beach was a hell due to mosquitoes and that the hosts did not like children. The only inconvenience during our three-month stay occurred upon their arrival. Their children were loud, broke objects, stole, mistreated the dogs, and caused a lot of damage to the place. Following this, a minimum age of 15 years has been set for children at the campsite.
And yes, indeed, there are a few mosquitoes when the wind blows the wrong way, a big surprise so close to the mangroves...

Rancho Mil is a great place to stop coming or going to the border about an hour below Mexicali. Many of the sites back up to a freshwater river that has lots of bird life. There is one pit toilet for men and women. Also, one cold water shower is in a covered common area. 300 pesos for 2 people.

Huge park at the foothills of Jabal Hafeet. Lots of covered picnic areas, restaurants and cafes. Chalets can be rented according to the sign. Not sure if they’re operating. Great place to stop for a picnic or break on your route. Also the starting point to a hike up the mountain which is why I came here. Will update details on the hike.
