vsinnott | This place just feels good. We parked down the hill with our van and it was more or less flat, and we managed to get back out without drama even though the ground was very wet. One morning the animals were quite noisy and the next they didn’t make a peep. Who knows why? Still enjoyed it. |

thickpupil73 | problem with the bus tickers sales persons, they lie about the price and time of departure. The bus to hidroelectrica is 50soles and to ollantaytambo is 40 (thats the lowest we got).

poudredescampette.com | We don't stop exactly at the same place but in fact this is a huge desert place. There is a small track just before the big white sign. At the beginning the track is not to soft but further you will go softer it will be. Very good 4G Claro signal. |

dullplayground76 | Absolutely wonderful little park. However, got woken up at 4am three times by the street sweeper. Then some workers intentionally blocked my car in at 6am. Thought it was funny and ran away, laughing. Nearly hit my car too. As a single female, I was immediately panicked and asked an older gentleman if he could move their cars, not having known what they did. He obliged and apologized but not fun. |

LazyBones | Stayed here with my SO and our dog for two nights in April. The sites are neatly organized and two loops have toilets. The access trail for bikes and ATV's was closed so we experienced minimal noise from joyriders. Lots of Ruffed Grouse in the area so if you visit, listen out for what sounds like someone trying to start an engine at dusk or on moonlit nights. This appears to be a party spot for the locals, as we had difficulty finding a camp spot that wasn't vandalized in some way. Broken glass, tent stakes pounded into the trees as well as heavy chainsaw scoring on most the trees within the fenced area. The bathrooms could of used a good cleaning as well. We also spotted bullet casings, and bullet damage on both the trees in the area and the restrooms. One campsite still had cans lined up on a log with holes shot through some of them. The area is beautiful and the campsites are easy to access and use but I would strongly recommend bringing thick work gloves, a hard sided bucket for broken glass and way more trash bags than you might normally take. We packed out with three trash bags with only one being our own. We drove in using a 4x4 full sized pickup & stayed in a tent. Spotted others with small sedans and someone hauling a medium sized trailer. it might be difficult getting anything bigger down the road by the river. |

agibon9 | Came cycling (3 ppl). Paid 45 soles for a big clean room with private bathroom (hot water with electrical suicide shower), WiFi, small kitchen in the room (gas stoves, water from tap with sink, some cups and spoons, nothing more), two matrimonial beds with clean sheets. Our bicycles were stored in the garage next to the room. Overall pretty good, I recommend. |
