I had a really nice stay there after hard days cycling through the mountains. They only have private room. Ask for 15€. I payed 20€ for room+breakfast+dinner+washing mashine+a new clamp for my bicycle. Finner and breakfast were huge portions and really tasty. She adk me on arrival if I am vegetarian 😊. Room had a fan no AC no heater. They have western toilets with toilet paper and good coffee. Irancell 3G available but no wifi

2600m high gravel pass. From Yarrak village coming extrem steep I had to push my bicycle the hole time. I saw no local car and I would only do it with 4WD. When it is raining road is really muddy horrible for bicycle. Plan enough time. in Yarrak village is a small Supermarket

Steep gravel mountain pass, but beautyfull scenery. In yarrak viallage you can sleep in the unused mosque. People there really helpfull. Small supermarket there. Road gets really muddy when it is raining plan enough time!

Nice place near beautiful river. You can see locals, who go for a walk there.

Stayed for 1 night. Asked inside and a lady said it was okay as long it was on the right side of the entrance, not along with the trucks. Slow but working Wi-Fi. They have showers, restaurant and tables with power outlet to work if you need. Good for the night.

Lots of place to park in the church parking. Very quiet. We were there 2 nights.

We slept at the charger and charged our car, no issues whatsoever, saw another camper there. Nice bird sounds in the morning!

Spent here 3 nights including Cinco De Mayo, very safe, continuous Police presence, highly recommended.

Only campers at the campground on a Sunday night. No pay information and the office is closed. Nice level platform sites with tables and grills, no services. Full VZ service.

Very nice park. $6/person entrance fee and $20 overnight stay/2 people, including electricity, water, toilets and hot showers.

Nice to have found great homemade beer in the middle of La Pampa and meeting its owner Matias. Just knock on his door if the brewery is not open.
I tried the IPA Argenta and found it to be smooth and refreshing. They also produce a Scotish Red and a Golden Dorada Pampeana.

Crossing from Costa Rica to Nicaragua with a dog: someone on the border crossing post said there is a rumour that they don’t check dog paperwork on Sundays because the bank is closed. We attempted it because it was Sunday. We left our dog in the car, but an official saw him and started asking us about the paperwork. We spent over an hour in the IPSA office (on the Nica side) trying to figure out a solution. They ended up letting us enter Nicaragua but it’s definitely not worth the stress. Go to the vet in Liberia and get all the paperwork in order to cross. Nicaragua is very strict.

I had too much trouble with this location. The way in had my nerves on end, a little too much to the right you’re going over the ledge and I don’t like heights at all. The road is all gravel and steep hills but very beautiful and quiet once u reach the destination

Still a nice place with grass, trees and shelter if needed. We got stuck in the mud on our way to the campsite, be careful where you drive in rainy season. People from the village and the campsite helped us to dig and push. The next day, the gentle caretaker Kevin showed us the right way to drive to the main street.
They even prepared some firewood for us, we recommend. We paid TZS 15000 pppn.

Well kept camping site on the lagoon with nice beach

Really cool hike in an amazing rain forest. Isaac the ranger was there and walked both the big tree and valley of the giants with me. He has a lot of knowledge and was great to have around. Possible to drive to the start of the trail now

what a place! i was allowed to stay 2 days at their ground with my land rover, for free! So booking a dinner at the camp (10JD) was more than fair for their hospitality from my side! Was allowed to use their bathrooms and shower! A very special thanks to Odai, he is heart and soul of the camp, had a great time with him!! thanks my friend,great pleasure to meet you!! If you Plan going Wadi Rum, no matter to stay at the camp or doing the overlander way, Rum Planet Camp is the place to go!!

excellent grassy campsites. Each with own ablution and braai. Electricity at all sites.

Très beau camping. site relativement intime. vous avez le choix entre des sites waterfront ou non. Plusieurs sites sont très ensoleillés car les arbres ne sont pas très haut. A 5 minutes en voiture d'une des plus belles larges de la Floride. North beach. 5$ pour le stationnement pour la journée ! Sanitaires vieux, mais propres.

Nice campsites on the lake. Price of 26000 kwacha per person is kind of high. No wifi, nowhere to wash dishes. The lady said the water in the bathroom comes straight from the lake, so we did not use the shower or the sink in the bathroom out of fears of bilharzia. Can’t really recommend this place due to the price being so much higher than other nearby places. Also, need high clearance vehicle to get here.

Great camping spot, still 1500 pppn, but no one checks so you don’t have to register. Showers are hot but pressures weak if all the showers are on- shower 1 at a time.
Treks and tours can be booked there but the treks only take cash or Pago Mercado. The bus excursions take card.
The park shop is also open til 10pm which is nice.

Comme décrit le stationnement près du centre d’information est plus agréable qu’à la marina. Faute de pluie torrentielles j’y suis resté 2 nuits. Beaucoup plus de va et viens à la Wascana place qu’à la marina par contre. Plus grand stationnement à la marina. Plusieurs stands de toilettes publiques et très bel endroit pour se dégourdir. On peut faire le tour du lac.

Sehr angenehm, viel Platz. Wir haben zwei Nächte dort gestanden und sind tagsüber nach Quebec gefahren. Abends kein Verkehr auf dem Platz.
