Latest Check-Ins

We payed 500 N$ per night for 2 Persons and our truck.

Report Check-In

Beautiful and even luxurious campsite, where every site has its own and lockable private ablutions. Very good WiFi all over the place. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to city and sea. At NAD 380 ppn it is rather expensive, but one has to consider that this is Swakopmund and that you get good value for money. Ask for a site looking to the east if you want to avoid the constant and unpleasant winds coming from the sea. Reasonably priced laundry service. Didn‘t try the restaurant.

Report Check-In

Didn't book ahead so no camping pitches and had to resort to a chalet. A tad expensive and dated, but comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Staff were friendly

Report Check-In

An enjoyable stay, everything was on order. Plenty of hot water and green grass stands. Here is WiFi at sites and a Laundry service if required. No other noise one would expect in town, but yiu can hear the sea. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Report Check-In

480 total for two people. Very functional. Not pretty- but good base with your own toilet and shower and very good wifi! We could watch Netflix on the wifi….

Report Check-In

As described below - always a good place to stay. We were charged N$ 480 for two.

Report Check-In

we payed 430 for a campsite, paying with credit card possible

Report Check-In

Great option for camping close to Swakop town. Private ablution facilities and well maintained grounds. Enough space for two cars to camp on each site.

Report Check-In

Luxury campsite at 450ND p/n. Only pay in cash. You get a private campsite with your own toilet/shower/safe. Laundy available at 51 ND a kilo. We used it but ended up paying nearly 200ND which was very expensive I believe (would use local laundry instead, just around the corner). They have their own restaurant but we didn't use it. Walking distance from some bars/pubs where we ended up watching football (world cup!).

Report Check-In

A nice campground, very clean with his own sanitary area.friendly staff. You can Walk to the City

Report Check-In

Clean and comfy campsite. Plenty of room for a big 4x4 truck if needed. Walking distance to town with all the amenities there.

Report Check-In

Beautiful pitches with lawn and palm trees. We enjoyed having our own bathroom. Very well maintained. You can book all the tours in this area at reception. Easy walk into town.

Report Check-In

Sehr ordentlicher und sauberer Campingplatz mit eigenem Bad/WC. 450$ für zwei Personen. Restaurant geschlossen, Frühstück aber möglich, Laundry Service ab zwei Übernachtungen ebenfalls möglich.

Report Check-In

An oasis in a very dry and desolate area. The campsites have lush grass and each has its own private ablution and braai. Had a lovely stay.

Report Check-In

Not a pretty setup with all the grey brick buildings but therefore super clean private ablutions with fire place, bench, sink, power etc. All working and nicely looked after.
Good uncapped wifi included.

Report Check-In

Good place to stop, re-pack, clean-up and freshen up before traveling further.
Various camping and chalet option at related costs. Good value for money.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for one night, seemingly luxurious, very clean and super nice bathrooms and great wifi. Grassy pitches to stand on ( for us a first in Namibia).
Cheaper than Tiger Reef (450 for 2 people). In the morning we did hear the road though, but very faintly. Could be mistaken for ocean waves. 😊

Report Check-In

We stayed here earlier in December, and found it to be a useful base to explore the area around Swakopmund. Very safe and useful to have own ablutions as well as grassy sites, even if these are in the heart of the complex so not particularly private. The only downside is we didn't feel the staff were very welcoming (perhaps because we weren't local?) and when our friends asked to stay in early January, they were told the price was R900 for two people versus the R450 for two which we had paid just weeks before, which was already a lot!

Report Check-In

Wonderful place with the best free WiFi by far. We stayed for 3 days. N$450 per couple per day.

Report Check-In

very nice place. you park on green gras and everybody has very modern absolutions :-). Buffet is formidable. my absolute Favoriten in Swakop.
Room NAD 1.600. Camping NAD 225 pP

Report Check-In

Great place to camp. Separate ablution facilities. Free Wi-Fi. Grass stands. A must stay for any camper and overlander

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 4 days.Absolute fantastic camping atea and 5 star ablutions.Very quiet area and good value for money.

Report Check-In

Price 250 for the site and 100 per person. 450 for 2 people is just too much for us so we didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Convenient nice campsite. Prices for foreigners are 450 N$ (2 persons, 1 car). Wifi was good, great to have an ablution block and grassy spot all for yourself. We stayed 2 nights and refreshed to visit more remote areas.

Report Check-In

Amazing campsite! The best we have done so far! A little garden just for you with a little house on it with toilets, shower, you own barbecue... wifi available everywhere in the camp.
Staff really kind and helpful

Very close to the best pizzeria in Namibia named Gabriele’s. It definitely worth it!

Go in this camp you won’t regret it!

Report Check-In

Lovely campsites with grass and individual ablution blocks

Report Check-In

Very good facilities and nice grassy spot. It's convenient as it is a short walk to the town but it's not a campsite we would spend a week in. As you are close to the ocean wind can be very cold and you get a lot of ocean mist bit it might be nicer in the summer months. They weren't running any covid-19 specials when the rest of the country was but we managed to negotiate 10% off as we were the only campers (eventually we paid 193.50 NAD pppn).

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 2 nights. Grassed stands. Easy check in. Own private ablutions that work. Hot water and decent shower head. Can be cleaned each day. They do have electricity but the whole of Swakopmund went down so we did not. No back up power. Good internet connectivity throughout the camp. Did not use the restaurant. Bit pricey but v comfortable

Report Check-In

460 one night, 2 people and car. Private abulutions. It is not a beautifull place but location very convenience, clean and well maintained. First night we had very good WiFi at campsite. Second day there were more people and WiFi was very slow.

Report Check-In

All was already said. Nice place. Private ablutions and good wi fi at site!

Report Check-In

A lovely place to relax and unwind after the really bad roads and dust from Sesriem. Got to get our washing done too.
Booked for 2 nights but stayed for 5. Couldn’t miss the eco dune tour !
Each site has private ablutions, braai place, wash-up area and large undercover patio. Wonderful green grass on stands.

Report Check-In

Last pitch, camping in truck, had to pay 360ND for one person to the miserable receptionist.
Stay at Tiger, 180ND pppn. Great camp, friendly staff, next to really cool Tiger Reef bar & restaurant and excellent food at good prices. I moved to Tiger next day.

Report Check-In

Very nice place, much more like a holiday park than a campsite. Nice bathroom per site with a covered veranda, sink and braai area. Good proximity to town and easy walking distance. Didn’t eat here, but at Tiger Reef next door which had tasty and inexpensive food.

Report Check-In

All has been said, really nice place with excellent facilities to reload after some days in the wild. Price now $N205pp. WiFi was off and on during our stay. On Saturday it was fully booked for the weekend, so a reservations might be necessary in the weekend.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights, perfect campsite to do some Cleaning after wildcamping. We only mised a pool! Close to town and the beach.

Report Check-In

Nice and clean campsite, close to the city.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place with a lot of extras. Like mentioned before, more luxury but nice to recover from a couple of nights wildcamp 200pppn. WiFi is really good at the campsite and wind free although you can hear the beach. Everything is on a 15 min walking distance like shops, restaurants and banks. We stayed for 2 nights. You got your own shower/toilet block

Report Check-In

While in Swakopmund we stayed at Tiger Reef, Desert Sky Backpackers and this one is def. the nicest. It's absolutely nothing like camping in prison! Yes, there are stone walls but they're not very high and you have your own ablutions and everything as already described. Fast WiFi!!!!! :)

Report Check-In

Facilities as written below, really nice own ablution block. A little bit like camping in prison with lots of high walls... Price is 180 per site plus 100 ppn

Report Check-In

Wonderful clean Campsite with grass at the places and a brick-built house with toilet, shower, sink for laundry and dishes, braai - really luxury !! The Wifi was very good and fast at the place !! You can go to the town, which is very lovely, the jetty is wonderfull - unfortunately Swakopmund is full of old Nazis - I am german, and i am ashamed about the Racism there !!! The Town would be so lovely without "the walking dead " there --- But anyway - the Campsite is very very nice ;-)

Report Check-In

Smart and clean but expensive at 380N$ per night for 2 people camping.
Holiday resort atmosphere.
1013 N$ for an 'executive' chalet for 1 person: double bedroom, large bathroom, kitchen and living room.

Report Check-In

Very big but nice place, every campsite with its own ablution block and a lawn of a size 12 x 8 m. Very clean. Free Wifi. Restaurant Tiger Reef nearby (300 m at the beach).

Report Check-In

Nice place, but behind walls. Good resraurants nearby.

Report Check-In

its very nice camping place

Report Check-In

This is a place with all facilities you need. Great Wifi on the spot and close to town. Having your own bathroom is great, but the buildings don't have a charm at all.

Report Check-In

Now 350N$ (20€) for the site and 2 people, well kept and equipped with private ablutions and lawn but not very charming, wifi but reception told us it was very slow at the time, no discount for longer stays

Report Check-In

Palm lined lanes with grassy pitches on both sides. Each site has own brick building with lockable toilet, shower and own sink and fireplace. Very well maintained, walking distance from town. Surprisingly no credit cards are accepted.
NAD 320 (2 adults, camper).

Report Check-In

Expensive, private bathrooms, lovely lawns and shade

Report Check-In

‘luxury camping’ with en suite facilities, but very holiday resort (N$300)
