Valhalla, Nirvana! A spectacular place! On top of a small mountain just north of the town of Javea. About an hour south of Valencia. Hard to believe someone else hasn’t already tagged this location. The view is just incredible!
Ok, down to details. From Javea take the road (cv736) up to the national park. The road is not big rig friendly (5 ton and over). Several hairpin turns and narrow. Ideal for Westphalia and Jumper style and size. I came up from the south. Saw a large plastic Fiat camper. Maybe came up from the north. Entrance will be from the east side of the main road and roughly 2- 2.5 km to park. No official entrance. Keep your eyes open for parking on your left with roughly 22 parking spots separated by wood poles. Private residence beside parking lot. Please be courteous! Off the parking lot is bike and hiking trails. Picnic area is tiered with lots of picnic tables in good condition. Stone fences in semi circular arches round out this wonderful scene of the Mediterranean. Although there is a sign saying water is available, I found the water taps capped off. No water for some time.
No amenities here at all. You should be fully self contained, or prepare to drive into town and back. At the end of the road is a beautiful lighthouse on the edge of the promontory. About 1 km from parking lot. Unknown at this time if operational. WiFi is sketchy. Parking lot is gravel. Please be environmentally friendly and stick to the trails and avoid walking on flora and fauna.
So, from here I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

Really nice place, right on the road, but quiet at night. We shared with 3 other campers. The views are incredible and nice walking trails to the cliffs, light house and surrounding areas.
Definitely recommend it.
Nice car park with a big picnic area and a spectacular view! You will propably not be alone, there were several other travellers with us here in december, but still very quiet! No amenities at all but can definitely recommend for a night and for hiking!
Report Check-InJust a picnic place with some parking. Hardly Nirvana, but to be honest, I haven't been to Nirvana.
