Nice provincial park with well spaced sites. We got one bar of service. Clean pit toilets.

Awesome place. Got a spot by the river to ourselves. $35.70 for tent site with AAA discount. Plenty of room for all sorts of rigs. They warned us there’s a bear lose around here.

Amazing campsite right on the rim of Dark Canyon, at the east end of the old Dark Canyon Airstrip. Great views to the west as well towards the Henry Mtns. Pretty easy access off of the Woodenshoe Road. Lots of flat camping spots as well. No cell service.

National forest land. Great site along the Tye river off well maintained dirt road. Good for one person or a group with up to 3 cars. Ample places to pitch tents if not car camping. Stone fire ring. 3 bars VW LTE.

Very nice well-maintained BLM campground with beautiful views all around . It was really nice to have our own trash can which staff emptied frequently. The bathroom is OK, not too trashy. Talked to BLM staff and he said the temperature is usually hot (about 90 degrees) come May, but this year, weather was perfect. Near Chimayo as mentioned. About a 30 min drive to Santa Fe.

Great spot and great hot springs. Very quiet

Worked well for one night. There were two other cars parked overnight and no one bothered us for sleeping in the car here even though it was a residential neighbourhood. There’s a forested area off to the left of the lot. Quite a few cars passing by. We arrived at 10:30pm and slept until 8am.

They don’t extend gabon visa if visa was not issued in Sao Tome. Lady is helpful and cool.

Beautiful isolated spot. Better to get to from the SD side off Tinton rd. Otherwise you’ll drive about 11 miles on dirt road. Few puddles along road, nothing to worry about. Road very well maintained. No need for 4x4 u til you get to the end and go to the top of the hill. Was completely alone, no noise or traffic. Tucked pretty far back.

Flat picnic area close to the road. Clearly market with P symbol on main road. Entry through 20 m. hard dust track. There is a picnic table. Not visible from the road due to trees forming a natural barrier. No traffic during the night

Road is ok for any vehicle, some parts you can drive 70-80 km/h, some parts very bumpy. We passed the skimming machine on the way back so they are working on it!

There are some tracks her leading up the mountain. Sometimes hard to follow but should get you up there. 4WD needed and some decent clearance is useful due to the many rocks. Low gearing not necessary if you choose the path wisely. For camping we leveled the car with some rocks since there is no really flat ground available. Be careful not camping to close to the hills due to falling rocks. The stars at night are amazing!

great BLM spaces, fills up fast, great biking and trail running

There are only 6 sites with the max stay is 14 days per forest service regulations. There is a sharp 90degree turn that has caused large RV's problems. Place is well used by fishermen and patrolled by Forest Service. FS showed up twice while I was there and kicked people out that were camping in the sandy parking area.

Nice lot, quiet, great for one night. Open 6am-11pm. Please remember to clean up after yourself. Many stores and restaurants in the area.

This was great. Plenty of parking. I arrived around 1030pm and there was a ton of places. Felt safe. Nice area to walk dogs. Bathrooms open and clean. Noise from I-95 but that was to be expected.

I stopped before the point to camp on the bay side nice a protected. Camping is free just sign up at the guard shack. Everything below don Alvaro’s 4x4 required!

Enormous campground, but well spread out, peaceful and quiet.
