Passamos uma noite tranquilos aqui, exceto por 10 da noite um cara bater na minha porta querendo me vender drogas, abri a janela e batemos um papo, disse para ele que não queria, ele estava muito louco… No fim deve ter usado tudo.

Silencioso e muito seguro. Recomendo.

Se eu pudesse eu moraria aqui. Victor é um cara espetacular. Biólogo marinho, recuperou essa área que era um lixão e recebe viajantes sem cobrar nada por isso. Minha segunda vez aqui. Disse à ele que voltaria e ele ficou doido quando me viu. Falou ainda que fui o primeiro viajante a voltar. Quando ele for ao Brasil, tem onde ficar. Recomendo demais.

The beach is really beautiful! We came on a Friday and it was very empty. We paid 1USD for the car. There are showers and bathrooms, also paid. It is not allowed to access the beach with food and drinks, but there are picnic areas near parking and snack bars.

A Praia é realmente linda! Viemos em uma sexta feira e estava bem vazia. Pagamos 1usd pelo carro. Há duchas e banheiros, também pagos. Não é permitido acessar a Praia com comida e bebidas, mas há áreas de piquenique próximo ao estacionamento e lanchonetes.

Entrance to a small gravel road by the paved CH-23. It leads to a bigger gravel road that ends by a cell phone tower. Perfect place to spend the night. Quite and sky full of stars.
No problem to get there with a 2wd. But it's necessary to stay in the lines, do not go off the path with 2wd, there is fine sand at some places.

Big and spacious campsite run by very friendly Dutch couple. New and clean ablutions. You can park your car anywhere you want and it’s only a couple of meters walk to the beach. Recommended.

great place for overlanders! we wanted to stay for 3 nights stayed 2 weeks. Good mechanics too, and vivek knows his way around Nepal if you have any questions for treks or off road driving.

Very friendly owner. Rooms are big and really clean. Starting from 7.000 (fan, with private shower and bathropm), 10.000 (AC with private shower and bathroom) to 20.000 for bigger and fancier rooms.

Guillermo travail très bien. il 'ous a aidé pour de nombreux petits problèmes et pour la rectification et le changement des joints de notre culasse de J5.
garage très propre, travail minutieux et sérieux. tout est annoncé par avance.
possibilité en semaine de dormir dans le garage. Sinon le camping est à 10min à pied avec une cabanas à 10000pes la nuit. prévenir quelques jours avant de venir, il est spécialiste des motorhome.

Got stuck here because of engine problems and were just absolutely happy to spend the nearly two weeks on this wonderful place with wonderful people. Thanks to Denise, who Translation a lot and took us to the markets, to Alex for helping with the machine, to Charly for giving us any Support we needed, especially his wonderful homemade bread, and to Maria Elena and her terrific kitchen helpers and anyone else of the team. They turned a bad situation into an event...oh, don't miss the wonderful refreshing pool😀

Lovely place in between Mandarine and Lemon trees. Very friendly owners. Wi-Fi but it didn’t work very well. We could use the very clean bathroom of one of the hotel rooms. A bit expensive though with 5000 pesos (11$) for 2 people and a van.

Pulled in at dusk (8:30 pm), started to cook dinner, within 5 minutes we had a set of rangers approach us and not only run our plates but also driver’s license. Said they were conducting an “investigation” bc we were parked. We had spent all day in the park having the most wonderful day, 3 hikes, pulled off here for dinner and immediately got harassed. Rangers stated multiple times that we were not able to sleep in the parking lot.

Hotel in Miraflores with big secure parking lot without high restrictions! Rooms not that great, no one takes care of the building and equipment. Bathroom bit stinky because of the plumbing problem. But bed sheets, towels and bathroom clean. Not very worthy price vs service but if you have a car high more than 220cm you don't have many options in Lima.

Lugar perfecto para pasar unos días. Nadie nos molestó,hay mucho espacio.

Small garden shop/centre 2km before Penalisa, there was a big storm so we stopped and asked if we could camp the night. Luis the owner was lovely, ended up letting us stay in one of his spare rooms with shower/toilet. Not sure if he would do it again but worth an ask if you’re passing and looking for somewhere

Nice campground. Multiple sites were “ under construction” sign asking people not to camp in them. (Rebuilding tent pads.) the place was full, all sites used despite signs. Many people driving through looking—Friday night. Horse camp down road might be alternative if full?
Bins for recycling, two pit toilets cleaned 3 days earlier —sign on front of them.

A nice spigot for water fill up, cold water

The scales are not calibrated correctly, so we had to pay at least 4 kg more for laundry. In addition, savings are made on detergent here, the laundry smells mustier after washing than before. But quick service. We got the laundry back within a day.

15k for 24 hours, they let us refill our water tank for free. They would have shower and toilets but we did not use them, I think it was 2k to use it.

Great spot. Enjoy 1 night by the river. Nobody bothered us. We were able to swim by sunset and sunrise. Beautiful!! Before leaving just a few kids with their parents came to swim but other than that we had the whole place for ourselves.

Our 3rd visit to this amazing place, and not last. Most beautiful sunrise you will ever have. Campsites extremely basic, but worth the tranquility. Can get busy, so best to book in advance. We paid: p100pppn adults and p50pppn kids. Entrance fee+levy is p53pp. All excl 14% VAT. Firewood available at camp for p20 per bundle.

$40 a night for a tent site that includes a picnic table. $50 a night for an RV full hook up site. no cell service but you can connect to campsite wifi with code 'internet'. cannot pay cash, can only book site through website with CC. $3 to soak at hot spring 10a-10p for campers. two individual hot shower/flushing toilets inside and a porta potty next to three tent sites.

Great spot for van or tent camping. Secluded from the road. Has an established fire ring. Fantastic views of the valley. Surrounded by juniper and Joshua trees.

the water level is high so there is less space than I saw last year but still room for plenty. I must have walked too close to the brush and found 2 ticks. I was the only one who over nighted there but a few people came to get a picture and left.
