Excellent place to be in Kathmandu. Water, electricity, shower, quiet place... for 650 rupees per day. Vivek and his team will help you with everything you need! We were also able to repair some problems with our van

Wonderful place. We where 5 days here with our kids. Very lovely and a lot of space for the kids to play. The Shower is the cleanest we saw since months!

Also a great place for motorbikers! We pitched our tent on the grassy area. There is a guard over night and two dogs, we felt very safe. We could use tools and all the space for working on our bikes. Highly recommended!

Overlanders Campground w/ workshop. Located behind the international airport. Spacious grounds, western toilet and hot shower, and close to local amenities.

I do not recommend camping at the end of the street, where the buses are parked, several children climbed the wall to bother them, even to masturbate and the Yeti staff did not tell them to leave.

Best place to park and visit Kathmandu or have repairworks done by Vivek's men. Indrive mototaxi to the city is about 170 rupees.

great place for overlanders! we wanted to stay for 3 nights stayed 2 weeks. Good mechanics too, and vivek knows his way around Nepal if you have any questions for treks or off road driving.

A welcoming haven for overlanders. Room for a good number of vehicles in the yard which is flat, mostly grassy, well lit and secured at night by staff on sight. It rained whilst we were there and there were several covered areas to sit, hang washing etc. supermarket and restaurants an easy walk nearby. Around NR600 for a taxi to town or Bharatpur plus local bus options so easy to leave the vehicle and get out and about. Parking is challenging for a big vehicle in the older more interesting parts of the city. 2 nice hot showers and 2 toilets available. Garage and knowledgeable mechanics available for vehicle repairs. Right next to airport so you see and hear the planes but we quickly got used to that. At the time we stayed we paid US4 per night but I feel it’s worth more for what is on offer. Vivek is slowly developing the site so I expect it will improve even more in the future. It’s a great place to base yourself in Kathmandu and to meet other overlanders.

you Can explore Katmandou with cabs/bus from hère, while waiting for your india visa .
we stayed about 2weeks overthere, vivek is a really lovely man .
hot shower, nice garden , nice people , nice dogs , nice atmosphère... enjoy

your host is vivek, who owns the garage yeti gear. He'll help you with everything. the place is spacious. even big rigs fit in. He provides a clean Hot shower and washroom. its near the airport, so sometimes noisy, but quite at night. Restaurants and Shops nearby. Taxi to the City is about 650 np.
4 Dollars/day for camping
2 dollars/day for parking
