Several campsites along Straits of Mackinac. Along the shore, great views of Mackinac Bridge. Group of 1/2 dozen tent campers just east of me, but very quiet place to spend the night. Access is by gravel road. Good AT&T & T-Mobile coverage.

This location has been marked closed. No Trespassing, Private Property and No camping signs all over. Gorgeous view of the bridge though if you drive it!
Report Check-InStayed her on Aug 13, 2023 with no issues... Tried to stay here again today and there are now No trespassing signs up blocking access to each of the pull outs to the beach areas.....

Report Check-InLots of room for multiple campers to stay. Right next to the water with great view of the bridge. There were a few other rigs when we got there around 10 pm but it was a nice spot to camp. Was a little wary of the tide coming in when it rained. Gravel road to the spot and then the spot is also gravel.

Report Check-InFantastic spot!!! Slept less than 50 feet from the lake, had an awesome view of the bridge. This was a Friday night, they had fireworks right close to the bridge that was cool to see!

Excellent view of the bridge. Quiet. Drive thru the water a bit and have your own spot. We were in adventure motorcycles and pitched tents. Had a fire. Safe. AT&T solid signal. Car, truck, sprinter all would work here.
Report Check-Insuuuuch a good spot, was able to pull up next too the water (could actually drive into it if u wanted. HIGHLY RECOMMEND one of the best free sites I've stayed at. good Verizon, decent view of the bridge, couple other van / pickup campers but no tents tonight
Report Check-InAs others have said, this was a wonderful place to stay. We were there five nights, and it was a glorious free spot to camp. Excellent view of the lake and Mackinac Bridge. One thing to be aware of, on the Saturday night we were there the area that was just over from us filled up with local trucks and young people partying. Several campers that were over there ended up leaving and moving over to the area where we were which was much quieter.
Report Check-InWe stayed here 2 nights and it was great (minus all the flies, you can't leave your doors or windows open without a mosquito net this time of the year).
Great views on Mackinac Bridge, very quiet plus great spot for you dog to swim!
great free spot right on the water with a pretty view of the bridge. no facilities just gravel area along the water. peaceful and quiet night. just be warned the midge flies are everywhere during this time of year so we couldn’t have any windows or doors open during daylight!
Report Check-Inthe water level is high so there is less space than I saw last year but still room for plenty. I must have walked too close to the brush and found 2 ticks. I was the only one who over nighted there but a few people came to get a picture and left.

had to drive through some deep snow before parking. Quiet and nice. I'd stay here again.
very good spot indeed. in the evening a lot of stars and colourfull small lights on the bridge. we were the only ones but a lot of space
