isabelvillegasjaramillo | No one answered when we were there. The entrance is not big rig friendly. So we left. |

Lianne Lish | We arrived around 4 p.m. and left around 8:30. We first parked by the playground but moved by the hedge in the evening. Our rig is 30', no issues. |

paulo-machado | The village has 2 or 3 bungalows for visitors and a place on the beach for overlander (not possible to sleep here without paying. The piste arrive in the village which is also the begining of the beach...). They told us we give what we want. Nice place, friendly People. |

iguana.panamericana | We really liked this place. After a couple days of driving and wildcamping in Northern Chile we could relax here. We were the only guests on this huge property with beautiful autumn colors. Parked right next to the river and the ground keeper made us a fire after sunset. Might be wise to whatsapp before you go in the off season. We paid $20.000 which is steep but worth it after a coupe of days camping for free. |

sarah | Dump station and potable water located at the exit. Pay $15 at office first. Save receipt as it’s good for 2 dumps/fills. Dumpsters at dump station. If want propane refill, tell them at the office and they’ll come around with golf cart to collect tanks and fill while you dump. |

YoyoVan | A pull off from Million Dollar Hwy, a parking lot at the Mineral Creek Staging Area. Need to cross a relatively small bridge (over a creek) to the parking lot. Spacious and pretty flat. Still have snow on the ground and around. Weak phone network but Starlink has coverage. Can see animals' feces on the tree sides. Can hear the traffic but it's not a busy road, overall it's a quiet night. |

elixmia | Not the quietest spot with street noise, although as it’s the off season the bars on the beach seem to be quiet. There were other overlanders parked here so it felt extra safe. There is a police box nearby and the toilets seem to be open later than the times in this post suggest, which is helpful. The toilets are reasonably clean, but not great. |

It's not a slow car, it's a fast house | Drive this canyon!! The road is great for any vehicle (and paved along the lake). But the views are spectacular- the geologist in you will be awed. So many types of rocks and formations.

It's not a slow car, it's a fast house | Indeed a very sturdy, wide, tall concrete car ramp. Not a pit, but raised. Perfect for underbelly work! Ha. |

It's not a slow car, it's a fast house | Huge area with trees, grills, river, trash barrels. I imagine it gets full of families having fun! Enough space to move away, across the road or many more campsites going south.

It's not a slow car, it's a fast house | This is the final strong cell service before you head into the most beautiful canyon of rock formations in Argentina. Make the choice to download whatever you need and drive the canyon! Canyon de Atuel is amazing. We pulled over near the small chapel to send this. But it is a crossroads of the different highways. If you are going Aouth or just roaming around drive this canyon!! The road is great for any vehicle (and paved along the lake) But the views are spectacular- the geologist in you will be awed. So many types of rocks and formations. Many beautiful campsites along the way. Water flow changes with dam controls. Changing daylight changes the views. No services. No cell signal. It's not a slow car, it's a fast house | 1200argpesos per person. Dogs allowed (and they had fun inside) The maze was fun. There is a second one of “canas”. Very green and lush area. Take your picnic inside or buy food from cafe. Wine. Gifts also for sale. Level, shaded parking outside. Very quiet. Any sized rig. Cell service. |

alex.sookaim | there are dogs all throughout the valle so don't be turned off by that. This place has nicer facilities than the one nearby. WiFi barely reaches the first spot near the house but there's a covered table by the house that gets good reception. |

amtravelling.nl | OK for a night but that is about it. I doubt any of the mentioned amenities work (e.g. electric). The bathrooms were dirty and stunk. Fairly close to city center when taking a cab back, otherwise it is a tough climb back up. Noise isn't too bad, the dogs are far away and are like white noise when falling asleep. |

roaminanalog | We pulled up late in the evening, around 9pm, after hanging out in the town square to watch music and dancing. The guard seemed a little reserved about letting us park there, but then said it was fine when we mentioned we were just looking for a safe place to park for the night and that we would be leaving in the morning to take the boat tour on sumidero canyon. Mentioning that we wanted to be in a secure place with two kids didn’t hurt probably. 😉 Much quieter up here than in the city center. |
