Large gravel pit. Google directions bring you in a smaller road, and there are options from that road. Drive further and you are in a wide open gravel pit, really now a big pile of dirt with a front loader parked by it. Definitely looks like it could be actively used, but not overnight.

I went in and asked. Someone who seemed to be a manager said "I mean we really can't allow it with the security that patrols." He asked what I'm parking overnight, and then said as long as I'll be for sure gone tomorrow morning (and not staying for a month) he'd allow it. He also said parking anywhere is fine, and jokingly said probably not next to In N Out because that's where the people that live in their cars park 😅

That said, I had no issues. I think I was the only van but there were quite a few other cars that were camping.

This is not geared towards camper/rvs.
Basic park & ride. backed right up to I-95 toll booth. cars come and go all night & it's a bit noisy but it's a safe, well lit place if you're in a
pinch. I stayed one night & slept fine. Cabelas has a huge lot right behind this one, which is better suited for larger rigs but they have no overnight parking signs so I didn't risk it.

Still available. On Forest Service land. No road markings or numbers. No restriction signs. Use common sense and this place might stay available for some time.

google maps doesn't show the road around on the side of Tahua. maps.me does. Now the gravel road is fine, sometimes a bit bumpy but perfectly doable with 2wd.

drove around looking for more than just a pull off on the forrest roads. stumbled upon a few areas with informal fire pits and finally settled on this little nook. no one drove by while I was here, 8:30pm - 10am. Tad bit buggy but expected. Small pull in perfect for my highlander. Sprinter can fit but nothing more, maybe a small skoolie 1-2bars Verizon, about 2-3 bars ATT

Lodge on the beach at 20 kilometers south of Pointe Noire. Around 500 fcfa to go to the Grand Marche by shared taxis.
We could park with sea view and open our roof tent. We had access to water tap, cold shower and pit toilets.
Restaurant, bar and lodge were closed for holidays but we could stay 1 week with the guardians without problems.
Big thanks to Xavier, the spanish boss!

Great spot. Big parking lot with lots of space. We stayed one night and worked from here during the day. The locals park on the grass underneath the trees. They told us it’s allowed so during the day we moved our van to be in the shade. The snack bar has nice ice cream too.

This is a great place to stay for a night! My only complaint is that two groups were using outdoor propane fire rings in a grassy field and full size grills. Both are not permitted here. The rules say no outdoor cooking. This is not a campground. It is a respectable, Harvest Host facility to stay overnight and it is also a business. You are a guest.
You are supposed to be as stealth, quiet , and ‘self-contained’ as can be. Do not ruin it for everyone else. Blue Heron is being very kind to allow overnight parking. Ask before you fire up your huge, outdoor grills, fire-rings, and generators.

General HH Rule from their website: If you are parking in the general parking area, keep outdoor items, such as chairs, a table, rugs, a grill, decorations, and other outdoor items packed up.
