Description

The entrance is right at milepost 285. Just approx. 1/2 Mile north of "Radio Tower Road" (some street gps show that name, it's an Air Force facility, you can not stay there) there is a small paved road to the west, not far to a dam and two very nice gravel pits on lakes. You can hear the trafic from the main road but it is o.k. at night!

Excellent place for multiple RVs. Even big ones are fine here by the first two lakes especially. So many places to explore. We hiked all over. Mushrooms and berry picking. Beaver in the lake. Three bars AT&T. Ample T-Mobile for our hotspot. Stayed four nights, did some work in a beautiful setting and wandered all over. Some road noise but very minor.

Great spot! It’s as previously described.

this is a sick spot! great 5g for Cricket/Att and awesome sky coverage with no obstructions for starlink. We are staying here as a stop over on our way to Denali but there is plenty of room further past the first two lakes.

Excellent spot. Turn onto Quarry road exactly at mile 285. We stayed a night and watched birds on the water in the morning. There is a rest area a mile or so up the highway with trash and toilets.

Very nice place. Lots of opportunities. No one here, not one car passed by…
Mosquito terror.

Report Check-In

Quite relaxing and very beautiful. Very clean and just enough room to park the 5th wheel by the water. Lots of parking around a gravel area further out the road from the highway. Starlink is good, some buffing between 6 pm and 8 pm. Bring your own supplies! Located 52 miles north of the Denali Park entrance. No Fee.

as previous described. about 1/4 mi off the main highway you have a lake on the left and the right as you first come in you or you can choose to go over the Earth dam straightforward to another lake on the left where you can camp right on the lake enough room for two fifth wheels or you can continue on to the gravel pit area and plenty parking there easy turn around for any rig gravel road all the way in some spots could be soft during heavy rains will stay here again

Great spot right by lake very level more lakes here could go back farther but we decided to stay by 1 st lake

Report Check-In

As described, some road noise but otherwise peaceful. We were the only vehicle on a Thursday night. In the morning we got a wafting smell of wild flowers.

All the description are rugby, but they are place for at least 6 Rig

Multiple camping locations here. Drive further to get away from the highway noise.

Perfect spot, easy to see turn from road.
Great cell service with Verizon.

A perfect spot even for a motorhome of 34 feet.
We stayed at the left lake and did not even need the levelling jacks.

As you enter you can park right or left by the lakes or Continue forward to another lake.

Brilliant spot. We stayed 3 nights. Amazing signal for remote working. No one around. Peaceful aside from a small amount of distant road noise.

Report Check-In

We really enjoyed this spot. Wide open spots next to small lakes that the dogs can play in. Full AT&T service. It was beautiful and warm durning the day, clear and nearly bug free in the evening. Some noise from the highway but it gets quieter in the evening. There are multiple lakes and some more remote spots further back if that’s what you prefer. Fire rings present as well.

Report Check-In

Pretty much as described. Plenty of space for multiple rigs. We are at the cul-de-sac at the end of the road and there has been some evidence of target shooting but no big deal. Don’t know if there are any fish in these lakes but hope to find out!
Great wide open views of the mountains!

Endroit parfait pour plusieurs campeurs 3 petit lac vous avez le choix

Report Check-In

Nice area beside 5 lakes right off Parks Highway. Plenty of room for most kinds of rigs. Two small lakes right as you come into the area, and three more as you continue driving in. A few locals came in and used the area as we stayed for 3 days. A few mosquitoes and horse flies but they were tolerable.

Report Check-In

great place, if you drive over the dam there is one small place for 1-2 cars on the left with a fire place. street is nearly not hearable at that spot. be aware of mosquitoes due to the lakes ;-)

Large open space between 3 lakes. Quiet, with some noise from Sportplanes from Clear Airport, but not at night.

Great spot! As mentioned, really nice open gravel area next to a lake. Few mosquitoes. Pretty quiet with just a few sounds from the road. Right off Parks Hwy.
