We camped here and there was nobody.
But lots of warning signs of no-camping and rightly…
At night we got a visit of a brown bear which shook one of our cars (on search for past night hamburgers…).

Right after police came and let us sleep here But warned that the fine can be as high as 400€!

The campsite has a great pool, spacious and clean sanitary facilities and the breakfast is very tasty! (fresh, homemade food - 2500 AMD/person) Price overnight stay per person in own camper: 4000 AMD.

Unfortunately, you can hear the loud traffic all over the site. This does not decrease completely at night.

With a van (Sprinter) you can park between trees and thus in the shade. Larger vehicles can only park in the sun, but have an unobstructed view of the mountain scenery.

This is a small hotel but really good, clean and good price. In Cruzilia about 25 km from São Tomé das letras on Minas Gerais, Brazil. We stayed there for a night because the road to São Tomé is not paved and it was late in the night. i really liked the place.

Nice spot. Cool fire place against the boulder a lot of firewood close by. Ride up was rocky but manageable. Saw a few others camped out along the way - maybe 3 cars passed by when I was there.

Typical Walmart. Wouldn’t stay here again. Woke up at 2am from fighting in parking lot. There were 3-4 cars with people outside arguing… should have known better after seeing the police do a drive-by at around 9pm. Ill pay for a camping next time around.

Nice campground, large sites. Not very busy comparing to the other campsites along the coast but laid back atmosphere. Less than 5 min walk to nice private beach. Ok facilities, community dishwash area needs some upgrades. Coin showers. 2 quarters for 8 min. Tent sites $35, RV with w/e $45. All with fire pit and picknick table.
Tent sites large enough for a vancamper, pick-up or small RV.
Friendly owner with a friendly dog

There's a nice gravel pullout on the highway right here and then you can easily walk into the woods away from the highway to set up tent or hammocks and wild camp. Easy to find flat mossy spots between the trees about 100 yards from the highway and the underbrush is non-existent so it's easy to walk in. You can hear traffic but it's not bad. Perfect for a one night stay on the road.

1 bar cell signal available on Verizon.

We stayed for one night and felt very safe. We paid at the entrance gate the 2-3 days pass for 60 Sol per Person. At the campside you have to pay nothing also not for the toilet. Nice campground with a lot of donkys and a llama. We start our trail to the Laguna 69 from here.

Sadly the gate was locked which made camping a no go but pete’s farm was a pretty sweet spot to check out given the delapidated farmhouse n nicely painted bench etc - enjoyed a nice spliff w Ben on the way back from our shroomy boardwalk

Nice site. We were In the last spot on the left. Early in the morning we woke up to a black bear trying to open the door to our van and looking in the window. We let the camp host know. He was super friendly and didn’t mind us dumping our cassette toilet in the pit toilets down in the pay area.

Just off the highway there is a turn off with enough room to fit maybe 2 trucks but it’s very narrow coming in so if you are wider than a Tacoma might be difficult. Not really anywhere to set up a tent but if you have a rooftop tent or sleep in your vehicle it’s good for a night.
