The community recreation center in Ketchikan has hot shower facilities. You can pay for a daily pass, which is $3.00. With that you can use the facilities ( pool, sauna, gym, games, etc.), as well as shower. The fee includes a towel too!

Clean showers, friendly staff, and awesome recreation facilities.

This is honestly a fairly mediocre RV park at the fairgrounds, but it sure is convenient. I've been here a few times while traveling through the area. Its just a few minutes from downtown Laramie which has several restaurants and there is always room here even in weekends.

Coming from the South, camping is allowed on pullouts along the side of this road since it is public land. However, at this point it becomes private - this pullout on the East side of the road pretty much directly across from a private driveway should not be used.

As described this place is special great views over the valley surrounded by mountains, no open areas just parked on road, doable in 2wd van if you don't go all the way down the road, no room to turn around so backed down the road, enough room for others to pass but not an issue as only one here, no services, no cell

Free water in national forest campground. No dumping station.

$25 a night. Right by the falls. Just pit toilets, tables, fire rings.

We had the place for ourselves, magnificent view. Very windy when we arrived but got better at night. The road is kind of rough but doable with a little patience. We did it without any problem with a 2 wd RV. Recommended for a very quiet night and a beautiful sunset. Pretty far from all the points of interest in the Badlands NP though.

Worth the drive; thank you to op and whoever built this forest service road. Dirt is a bit rough and steep in spots. I wouldn't try it when wet. The spot on top has a gorgeous view, perfect 4 Starlink, and flat enough. A few possible spots on the side of the road coming up. Go past the open gate and across the bridge. It was a bit far, but not many obvious options in the area. This spot is truly gorgeous. Don't tell anyone.

10am, 2 guys in a truck drive by. Asked if we were leaving soon. They said the gate will be locked tonight. Lower down on the road are a few spots.

We stayed here 1 night. Not a lot of noise after 11 pm. It starts get busy again around 7 am. It looks like so many houseless people stay there long term with their RV’s. Overall it was safe and had no issue.

Attempted to stay here In our 35ft fifthwheel. Gravel road for the last 4km in. Site was flooded out from the rain they had that past few days. was tight to turn around. Probably not suited for larger rigs and be warned if it's rained recently.

Lovely site, we reserved but plenty of free plots when we arrived. Mosquito central when we arrived though - unfortunately ended up bailing on our second night because they were unbearable. Good location for access to Kootenay and Banff/Lake Louise area. As a bonus - AMAZING view of the stars at night!

Breathtaking views and ground. Yes, they can do much more. But was great for a nights visit. Cheap and there is a caretaker that helps with wood and atarting a fire if need be. Ablutions can be better maintained. One of the best places for awesome pictures and a night around a fire in the woods.

The first night we arrived there was no space so we were allowed to camp in a building they were renovating which we reluctantly paid 100kwatcha for.. I don't think this will not be possible all the time.

- Might get noisy as people seem to come here to celebrate things

New and clean guesthouse with a beautiful garden outside. It is located 25 minutes from Kisumu. Safe compound with a gate at the entrance.

The guesthouse has several rooms with a bathrooms and hot showers.

It is also possible to camp with your vehicle in the quiet garden. There is room for several cars.

Rates for guesthouse (including breakfast) : 3500 KES ppn, 2000 KES per child

Rates for camping in the garden (including shower and toilet) : 2000 KES per car per night.

Seems to be possible to negotiate prices if you are staying several days.

We wanted to stay here in our own vehicle but the cost per night is 6million rial for two people with breakfast so we moved on to Ramsar where we found a hotel for the same price.

Nous y avons passé deux nuits très agréables. Un seul sanitaire avec 2 douches (vieillottes) et 6 WC. Toilettes sèches à côté des emplacements. 4G ok, wifi très lent. Magnifique vue et grandes marées.

They had no diesel today. Several trucks were also waiting for diesel. They expected new diesel around 7 pm. We did not stay to wait

If coming from the village there is a small road down to the river on the left side of the road. The spot itself has plenty of space both in the sun and shady. You're not visible from the road and we saw no one around the two days we were there. Unlike some other spots there is not a lot of trash so let's keep it that way

Small beach that ist quite crowded during daytimes. Quiet during night even though several caravans stayed here.

There's parking space next to the road to the harbour and a sign asks you to not park directly next to the water (as apparently recommended by some guide).

Overall comfy place to stay the night if you get up early.

Nice spot by the Chapel just outside Marisa. There is tap water, table and squat toilet. The cross is lightened in the evening. The Road os very close and you Can hear the cars.

We liked it, quiet place with a pleasant view onto the lake.

Arrived later than anticipated and there were already two vehicles settled in the for the night. Some noise and light from highway traffic overnight but overall a good place to stop and a great view in the morning :)

A beach on the lake, small port and a square of grass to install a tent. also picnic tables and fireplace. not suitable for campers or any engine powered machine.

Nice and cosy food market! Very fairly priced food. Burgers, sushi, pizza, ramen... You'll probably find something you like. Don't know about camping though. We just walked up here from the camping a bit further.
