Nice quiet place with beautiful views. The road is a washboard but easy to navigate until you hit the overlook. After the overlook is high clearance only. Near the overlook is great for any size vehicle. Our box truck had no problems. Only downside are the flies but overall well worth a stay.
Report Check-InWe had the place for ourselves, magnificent view. Very windy when we arrived but got better at night. The road is kind of rough but doable with a little patience. We did it without any problem with a 2 wd RV. Recommended for a very quiet night and a beautiful sunset. Pretty far from all the points of interest in the Badlands NP though.
Report Check-InI drove 5 miles down a dirt road, nice and flat no ruts. A bit of a washboard though. But totally worth it! The views were amazing and I had to place all to myself last night.
Report Check-InJust wow. The roads a little uneasy, especially after passing the sign stating “high clearance required”. But it’s so worth it. The view is so special and really wows during sunrise. Enjoy and beware of harvester ants!
