Nothing fancy but gets the job done and has enough tree clearing for Starlink. No cell service. At the base of this logging road is the Mt.Ozzard hike (MTB trails as well). No 4x4 needed. We managed fine in our Promaster. We found this to be the best free camping closest to Ucluelet and Tofino.

Worth the drive; thank you to op and whoever built this forest service road. Dirt is a bit rough and steep in spots. I wouldn't try it when wet. The spot on top has a gorgeous view, perfect 4 Starlink, and flat enough. A few possible spots on the side of the road coming up. Go past the open gate and across the bridge. It was a bit far, but not many obvious options in the area. This spot is truly gorgeous. Don't tell anyone.
10am, 2 guys in a truck drive by. Asked if we were leaving soon. They said the gate will be locked tonight. Lower down on the road are a few spots.
