Not IVECO representative any more. It is Austral now. I left another entry on the map, a little bit south from this place.

Filled up a 45 gallon RV tank with one dollar. Just know that their isn't a hose connection. The fill hose is just cut off rubber.
Also, machine only takes quarters.

Fast parking lot next to river with toilets and picnic table? What more could you ask for for a free place to spend the night? I mean I just came from McCartney and paid $30 a night ro Park in a rock filled field with nothing. And then they didn't even have a trash bin.

Flat spot to park near the Trans Canada. A
High clearance 2WD would be fine here. Only room for one vehicle. Only minor road noise from passing trucks. Strong LTE cell signal

Tried to park here but it was packed, it’s the shuttle stop for the hayward park stadium so if there’s a game there are tons of cars

There’s no No overnight sign on the parking lights in front of Bed Bath Beyond. But there is signs in the Safeway section. Quiet and no issue. I tried to sleep on the Front St in town, it was quiet until 4am, after that so noisy with many cars passing. (Toilet at Safeway)

Not so sure about the no one part. Within 5 seconds of setting up camp a truck of villagers went past. Not bad MTC 3g. Anyone exploring deeper in the bush please open a more remote wild camp :D in the late morning another truck passed. We spent a quiet night, so altogether a decent spot we can recommend on the way to rundu

Really nice spot with a beautiful view on the sea.
Quiet and no sign.
Not really suitable for big RV. We sleep in our car and it was perfect.
We set a bonfire and it was really nice.

But a LOT of mosquitoes !!

Please keep this place clean !

Amazing site, quiet, clean, beautiful view. We lucked out and got the 3rd spot up top. Easy access for a van and level. I spotted a 4th spot down below us too so don’t give up if you see the first 3 spots taken.

Nice lot behind the store with a nature trail and picnic area.
Cute town! The lot started to get loud and busy at 7am.
Verizon service was inconsistent. I had no service when I arrived and none first thing in the morning. But after 8am, I had 1-2 bars LTE, and it would still cut out every once in a while. I wouldn’t rely on it to get work done.

There is a new parking lot in front of this place. It is allowed to park here overnight. There are toilets and a 24h security. There was no charge.
From here you can go to the springs or to other attractions (a lot of signs)

It’s very crowded and dirty. We visited this place on a weekday afternoon. There were more than 20 cars and 3 Microbuses. Maybe it’s still nice in the off season.

Party hostel if that's your thing. Friendly atmosphere good for a night. Close enough to beach and restaurants etc. Good parking for motorcycles.

Nice place along the rivers edge (not much water) for a picnic stop on your way in or out of the park to break the drive. Saw lots of curious waterbuck, an elephant and plenty of wader birds in the marsh. You have to cross a washaway

WILD CAMPING ETIQUETTE
1. GOING TO THE TOILET - Find a place where people are unlikely to walk. Dig a hole, do your business, burn the toilet paper (without causing a fire), cover the hole again.
2. FIRES / BRAAI’s - If you have to make your fire on the ground: Dispose of the ash (without causing a fire) & cover with sand. Leave it looking as natural as you found it.
3. Do not leave any rubbish behind.

Wild camping should not disturb the environment, animals or the people that live nearby.

Beautiful spot. Solid road getting in. But I’m amazed I one has mentioned the bugs. Maybe it’s just the spot I’m in. Chose a roadside fire ring to get away from the crowds. It was lovely after the sun went down but wow. Holy flies and mosquitoes. Mostly flies. The campsites along here are stunning but busy in the summer it seems. Plenty of tent sites or if youre willing to walk down from your camper or van. Hopefully just not as buggy as this one site.

Still chose to stay and do the ice lake hike up the road tomorrow. Just beware.

Great location and 2 solid bars of LTE Verizon.

Several sites along the lake and a few across the road. Very popular with families. Fills up in the summer with campers from Prince George. Worth staying if you can find a site. Bugs less here than other sites we've stayed at this week.

Fantastic food in restaurant and great to find fresh food and meat from the farm stall ( which is close to the road). The campsite and restaurant is further from road, so a lovely quiet night. Hot shower, clean ablutions, sit on composting toilet. Boma shelter if it rains. 50 km s of Iringa. Nicky is a count of knowledge and provided valueble advise. 23000Tsh each to camp. 3 course meal was 35000 and great quality (and quantity)
