Site is as described above, buuuuut we got a knock from a very nice policeman a bit after midnight telling us that “Trans Canada doesn’t allow people to be on the hydroelectric sites after sunset”. There were no signs anywhere in the area indicating anything, however. We moved across the street to the rest area, where there was plenty of room.
Report Check-InGreat place, beautiful view with picnic table in front of the lake. Quiet to sleep, We are alone in june.Perfect for one night
Report Check-InReally cool picnic place facing the reservoir with nice sunrise. Cops came around 10 pm saying we normally couldn't stayed here because recently locals complained about people drinking and doing drugs. However they told us we could stay when they realizes we were camping. That being say, their are few wild camping spot better than this one on the right side when facing the reservoir. Just walk where the bbq/picnica table are to spot it. I doubt police went there.
