We had a punctured tire. The English speaking mechanic helped us out in no time. Friendly guy, affordable price. Also gave us some hiking tips.

Free hot shower. You need to leave your key while you shower.
Free Dump station as well, but you need to get someone at the gas station to open the water. The dump station is on the car’s side, after you leave the store. Better to park and shower before.

Beautiful view of the canyon and mountains in the distance. Just a small area at the top of the first steep hill. 4x4 trail continues on but I did not check it out. The hill is steep with a bit of loose dirt, use your judgment. No cell service. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean 🌲

Quiet place at night on a small field just being the church, we were there on Friday night and it was really good.
Good cheese, bakery and restaurant just 100m from here.
Keep it discreet and clean, don't park one the middle of the small field or blocking the entrance to this place as it is sometimes uses for others to park for the day also

Located in the park. We found a drinking water tap right by the bathrooms in the back of the campground. We stayed the night but it would be easy to just drive in and fill up for free.

Nice restaurant/beer garden (actually a pretty nice grassy garden inside!) with craft beer (the porter beer is really nice) pizza, sandwiches (vegan/veggie options too), coffee and juices.

We were there on a Saturday and they had live music; a wonderful pianist, I forgot his name but we were looking for something chill and this was just perfect

$6 per person. The place is alright - a bit messy and kinda dirty :/

We had bikes and wanted to make sure we could lock our room or leave them in a secure space. We were told there are no keys available for the room we wanted and we saw a lot of people coming in and out of the place.

This was a specially busy weekend due to the towns celebrations but still we wanted to make sure our bikes were going to be ok.

We ended up going to Avalon B&B and paid a bit more but it felt more secure.

The lady at Crucita was super friendly tho. Camping is $5 per person/night. The camping area is in a second floor and there is only space for two small tents, space is not nice but if you need to camp and have access to wifi/bathroom/kitchen, this could be an option.

Ordered the falafel plate and the falafel was just okay (very doughy) 😬, the pita bread and the salad delicious.

They have coffee (flat whites:) and cakes too. Staff was super friendly

The campground in May 2022 is as described with all facilities. Dogs are welcome. There are no signs to this place so you have to trust your mapping. 300 pesos with hookups. A good place to stay.

we stayed here 2 nights in my van, with no problem. The 1st night there was a RV and the 2nd there were other cars and another van camper. Big parking lot, food places near gas station next to it was only $3.99 for regular gas.

This is right behind Lowes and if you don't mind not having service there is a dirt road in the Cul-de-Sac that will take to a dirt Cul-De-Sac no "No" signs. 1-2 bars of T-mobile and Verizon.

Quiet, secluded dispersed camping on BLM land off route 84. Solid gravel road, no mud to drive. Green, pine forest with shade, cooler temps than NM this morning and the wind sounds lovely blowing through the trees. I am so happy to be in this clean spot surrounded by beauty. We stayed here many years ago, but drove miles up the road and had a view. This is perfect for an overnighter. NO fires, please. Respect the burn ban. It is too breezy for a fire even if they were permitted.

We slept here one week, at night it's very quiet and peaceful, during the day (depending on the day of the week) some people come to the river and sometimes they have loud music but not a big deal. The owners of the restaurants are very kind and helpful, one of them lent us her freezer so we could keep our food fresh; another person gave us wood to make our fires.
We only paid $1 dollar for parking but that was because we arrived on a weekend and there was a man controlling the parking entrance. During the week nobody came to check the parking.

$5 for a long hot shower as of 5/22! Pay inside the store, they'll give you a key.

This place also has camping/RV park, a little store, I think they may have a dump and propane? People are very friendly and helpful.

Shower head was well above my head (I'm 5'10) on the women's side! Nice.

We arrived here at 5:30PM after climbing up a steep road with lots of pot holes. Everyone was gone but we got lucky to meet a guy who was on his way home from work. He checked us in. 8000colones per person as described. No idea how they come up with that as it is outrageous for what you actually get. It was raining heavily and gotten dark by the time we parked in our spot and we just didn't feel the place so we figured to leave again early next morning. Well... turns our there was a mountainbike downhill race the next day which was a fun surprise! The weather was much better too so we explored the area a little bit. Beautiful forest with a lot of paths to hike. Still expensive but it did end up being a nice spot for a night with some random experience...

cool spot, it's like a church parking lot, multiple spots. There is a kind of dock where you can hangout with direct view on the river.

Definitely a beautiful spot if you’re willing to drive there. Made it in a Promaster but stayed on the grass route (to the left) passed the “high clearance” sign.
