Just came here for water based on the previous entry. This station is inside the campground behind the guard station. I just asked if the entry station if I could come in and fill up with water they said no problem. So it is definitely as advertised.

Place was closed down since September 2021 - so possibly only open in summer?

Nobody was on duty so I just went and used the water without asking. Had no issues.

Great spot for some free water. I pulled up to the gate of the national Forest campground and asked if I could just fill up my tank and they said no problem and pointed me towards the dump station. Next to the dump station there is a spigot with a sign saying that it’s potable water so I filled up and then headed out.

closed, not sure if for covid or just the season but everything was totally closed here

Mile and a quarter pass the diamond lake resort on the left side there is a free rv dump and potable water. Just ask the Host managing the NF station
