Unmetered street parking north of the beach. Mix of locals sleeping in their cars, surfers/vanlifers avoiding the pay parking to the south, cars with "for sale" signage, and parked work/repair vans for local businesses. Street sweeping on 2nd and 4th Thursday, so must be out by 6am on those days. Bathrooms and beach showers a 10 minute walk south, hours depending on covid. Traffic whizzing by but otherwise quiet.

I didn't actually stay here just stopped for a break but couldn't find any signs prohibiting overnight parking.

Really nice sport by the water. Absolutely quiet with very few locals coming by as there's limited parking (around eight cars max). Please keep this place clean if you end up staying here.

Two bars with Telus.

View is nice but still wouldn't recommend as there's a ton of traffic in the am. Rather go to "Beacon Hill Park and 24 hour washroom" a little north from here, since its much quieter and staying for longer than 3½ is actually allowed there.

Stayed here after checking two other options around Parry Sound. It was quiet, heard the train once in the far distance. Sleep was very restful. A good number of overnighters were there when we arrived late that night.
Location near the hiway is nice.

Nice place to spend the day.

Nice quiet spot. Drive down the lane between the RV park on your left and the stables on the right. Pass a baseball diamond and turn right to keep following the driveway. We drove a little further and parked nearer the chemical toilet that is right behind a ball diamond. Very quiet.

GORGEOUS SPOT! Small flies and grasshoppers were horrendous during the day but once the temp dropped in the evenings they were gone. 360* stunning views, we saw moose, lots of hunters. Plenty of room for the dogs to roam, very spotty cell coverage on AT&T. We were able to find wood and there are fire rings galore.

Halte municipale - you can park here and there isn’t any time restrictions. On a small road right next to the St Lawrence. Watch the tide come in n out. Big enough for 2 SUV or a big van. There’s another spot 100 m east but it days no campfires n no parking from 11pm-6am.

The spot is still here however the picnic table is gone and there is a fence blocking the dirt road leading up to the site. I had to park close by and walk up the short dirt road to a big open camping area with a fire pit. Would have been great for car camping or RVs at one point but the fence blocking the road really changed my plans. Still a beautiful spot I would come back again

It seems this is now the only campsite at the western gate of Northern Luangwa. campsite is isolated, beautifully shaded and near the river. But small, 3 cars max. The caretaker first told us the campsite is full with 4 people and 2 cars since they don't allow more than one group at a time (only one brai and sink area). Since we knew the people camping there from the precedent campsite, we were allowed to stay. Camping was large enough for 2 groups. Other proposed option was to camp near a chalet, but not all of them are reachable by car.

We parked our Sprinter 415 besides de chapel, in the area facing the "Casa das Ovelhas". Night was peaceful and luckily we had access to the free wifi network from the Casa das Ovelhas.

Beautiful riverside spot all to ourselves. No longer an official rec site. Looks heavily used. Unfortunately a lot of trash and TP in the bush. Road down to the river had a few other clearings to camp at if river spots are full. Road was a bit rough with pot holes.

We parked on the right hand lot as we are pulling a trailer. Quite large and wasn't too busy that night. 5G cell signal.

What a great spot to sleep. Beautiful spot right along the river. The lot had a few locals there when we got there. We parked off to the side for the night being it was dark. The next day we actually parked in a spot for a second night. We were joined the second night by a van.

Small correction :
the forest is being chopped down by parts every year, between August and October.
so you may avoid this time if you want a quiet environment.

Boat ramp on nice small lake on west side of Hwy 16. 8.4 miles north of Beach off I-94. Large grassy area with places to pull off the gravel road and park. No signage indicating parking limitations. We spent a quiet night here.

Multiple sites along a dirt road. Quite bumpy but still doable with a class B just be careful and drive slowly. Each sites are small and there's around 5-6 of them with enough room for one van only. Informal fire places, spots are clean and somewhat leveled. The spots closer to the highway are more inclined. Quiet at night but you still get some people that are driving to Cat Lake. Pit toilets up at the campsite. Cellphone signal at 2 bars.

Keep the area clean and leave the place cleaner than how you found it!!
