Description

*Overnight camping/parking is NOT available at his location.
,,,,,
One section just across from the bars and shopping center (between Atlanta and Sunrise) has been converted to two-hour max parking, but the entire remainder stretching to Indianapolis St is still available except for the normal street sweeping days.

Unmetered street parking north of the beach. Mix of locals sleeping in their cars, surfers/vanlifers avoiding the pay parking to the south, cars with "for sale" signage, and parked work/repair vans for local businesses. Street sweeping on 2nd and 4th Thursday, so must be out by 6am on those days. Bathrooms and beach showers a 10 minute walk south, hours depending on covid. Traffic whizzing by but otherwise quiet.

Report Check-In

This part of the street had been closed to overnight parking and is limited to two hour max during the day. Not a single car parked there anymore. CLOSED

Report Check-In

I parked on the Main Street with a 5 window skoolie and the cars zooming cause the bus to rock so I would recommend leveling jacks. I decided to drive to a neighborhood to be informed by police any vehicles over 20 feet cannot be parked there.

Report Check-In

Beware that there's a different vibe on Fri/Sat nights - you may want to stay north of Atlanta (closer to Indianapolis) if you're hoping to get an early night. The southern section is still available (and popular,) but be prepared for loud music from the restaurants in the plaza across the street until relatively late, as well as drunk partiers heading to/from the beach. The northern section stays pretty much dead aside from traffic noise, at the cost of a longer trek to the beach bathrooms, stores, etc. Parking's more abundant there as well.
