Hug parking lot. I asked permission and young lady said it was fine to park overnight. Park out by the grass. It was one of the quietest Walmart's we've stayed at. There is a Subway inside the store and all kinds of stores and restaurants in the area.

This Cracker Barrel is open and allows overnight parking but the city does not so it’s a “park at your own risk”

Called and they said they allow overnight parking for 24 hours if you park at the back of the lot near the gas station and Arby’s

marking this spot for later, didn't see any no camping signs or any other indication of any campfire restrictions or anything like that. little turn out on highway 1 with a road that leads to the beach. another turnout with road on the other side but it looked like it might have been gated

lots of turnouts without any restriction signs on Benbow road, right off the 101 and next to a river. did not stay the night, marking for later

10/10 would recommend. zhandiya is such a lovely person and makes you feel at home. everything is super clean and there's heaps of room for bicycles.

very peaceful spot beneath the trees, along 89 in the Plumas National Forest. accessible in our 2WD van. good location for van, car or tent. (do not have a campfire here, as there are no established fire rings and lots of dry ground cover.) very spotty AT&T and Verizon service.

pretty cool campground in Kings Range, not far off the main road to shelter cove. probably about 10 sites, first come first serve, and the fee is $8 a night. there's a BLM information office on the main road just before the turn off to kings peak rd, check it out on your way in they were really helpful. tons of BLM land all around this area but this looked nice for a night on my way to Arcata :)

There is most definitely a no camping sign posted here and it's not new.

Open beach…barely a house around.
Lots of options to be a fair distance away from others depending on traffic.
May23 Tuesday…closest ppl are 100yards away. Some noise from them but most minimal. Portable Toilets at the entrance w apparently more being added down the beach.
Bugs—— lots of biting flies so coverup. Also small knats that land on you. Some ppl were outside but they were annoying enough that I stayed in the tent mostly.
Sand is mostly hard but just keep an eye on where you park.

Really lovely and quiet spot. Watched the thunderstorms roll by in the distance this evening. The campsite is clean with a nice view of the water. Nobody else but our crew here.

Camp on the former sea bed of the Aral sea, shells all around for evidence. Very calm, no people seen during 1 dsy/night camping here. Can get a bit windy like most places in Kazakhstan.

This is the cleanest, best spot I’ve ever camped at. Literally 50 feet from Yellowstone River. At least 5 spots with picnic tables and fire pits. Pack it in, pack it out!

Good mechanic specialized in Volkswagens. First time we found one that had descent knowledge and parts for our VW Caravelle since Turkey. Friendly guy who spoke okay English.

Best shrimp tacos in Baja I’ve had hand down. sit and watch the shrimp draggers work the bay while you enjoy the fruits of their labor. This place has awesome toppings platters with their tacos as well I always make a point to get a couple shrimp tacos when I’m in the area

Amazing!!! Don’t let the appearance from the road deceive you. Looks like just a parking lot next to highway, but not so! It’s an entire fairgrounds and it goes very deep- picnic benches and tree abound- there is even a park inside the fairgrounds you can camp in (as long as you don’t have an rv.)

RVs unfortunately do have to park in that parking lot right by the road but vans and tent/car camping you can literally park and camp almost anywhere. I’m currently watching the stars from outside the building the 4h club uses to show their animals During the fair.

Only con is I would call the showers mildly warm, but I showed at night…

Kenny the camp host is very helpful and talks a lot and helped me find the quietest spot.

Love this place!!!

Cross the bridge and find an access point either direction, left or right along the bank road.

Lots of space, sandy on the west, rocky on the east, popular, small shops in the nearby village.

Latrines scattered along the bank road.

Lots of car traffic along the riverside, however there are random soft patches to risk getting stuck. Nevertheless, there were camping cars and trucks pulling caravans.

Very nice place by the river. We went down with our 23ft vehicle. There were a few families at the end of the day but we were alone at night. We strongly recommend.

As described, nice place to stay and easy to get to. The guys looked a bit confused when we asked to camp but were happy enough to show us a good spot and leave us to it. Not particularly private but apart from the security guys there was no-one around after about 5.30pm

There is a new road because of a new dam going to this spot. From here 300 meters easy walk to the viewpoint.
Google maps still guides along the old road, now cut off by the lake created by the new dam Good for swimming, asphalt all the way to the water.

Great spot close to the beautifully small but charming Gyalia beach. A little more away from the road compared to the other spot.
I wouldn’t recommend taking dogs here as the underground was full of thorny vegetation. (No problem when wearing closed shoes)
