Shandiya is definitely the best host you can find! She gave us so many tips for the Wakhan Valley and was really helpful planning our trip. Also the place is super clean and cozy. We paid 150 Somoni per person including breakfast. We could park our 2 motorcycles at the neighbours yard. We definitely recommend this place!

10/10 would recommend. zhandiya is such a lovely person and makes you feel at home. everything is super clean and there's heaps of room for bicycles.

We stayed 3 nights here and it was lovely. Cost is 150 Somoni per person including breakfast and it's a really good breakfast. The rooms are simple but very clean and well maintained. 1 shared bathroom but it's kept very clean, bin emptied regularly, and the best bathroom we've used in a long time with great shower. The owners are very nice and friendly and will try to help you with anything you need. Pet friendly, we stayed with our 3 dogs, no extra charge but we took a room to ourselves. Highly recommend.

Super super nice guesthouse! The owner is very friendly, breakfast is delicious, vegetarian and safe to eat (as food in the town is generally bad and food poisoning is widely spread). There’s a nice little chill out garden. Two dorms with four beds, not the comfiest, but firm mattress are good for your back, or so I’m told.

Definitely the best place to stay in Khorog! Good shower, great breakfast, clean and cosy. There’s beer in the fridge and good coffee for breakfast. The host gives you the best advice on anything (restaurants, roads, where to buy food, money withdrawal). Even if you think you don’t need it, ask her first! A gem for Tajik/Pamir standards.

Best breakfast, cleanest bathroom and nicest coffee I've experienced in 30 days in Tajikistan. Great local advice, nice outside area and good location for the bazaar on one side and the park on the other. More than just a bed for the night.

It was really a pleasure to stay at Welcome Inn for a couple nights in late August 2019 when I was traveling through Khorog on my bike.  Zhandiya (the owner) is a fun and welcoming presence.  She speaks excellent English, is extremely knowledgeable about everything in the region and happy to share information, and prepares a very nicely presented and tasty breakfast (included with overnight stay).  The accommodations in shared rooms are nice, the toilet / shower area is very clean, and there is a very inviting and comfortable outdoor lounge area in the garden.  There's a bike rack for bike storage too!  Fast WiFi, great location in the middle of town close to the bazaar and restaurants and the central park, all the things!  This is a great place to base yourself in Khorog, and you'll feel well taken care of.  Thank you!!

Zhandiya is a wonderful hostess. She can get loads of up to date info for the Pamirs (road conditions, fuel availability, etc) and is very helpful for any requests.
Good breakfast too.
The neighbours have a large yard for parking trucks, etc and motorcycles.

Shared dorms, but we had it to ourselves!
Parked our VW van in the neighbours garden. Great shower and toilet facilities and excellent breakfast!
Hostess is wonderful and has loads of information - can help organise Afghanistan visa and trip.

Great place! I can’t imagine a better place to stay and rest in Khorog! There is only 2 rooms (4 guests each) what means that the place is cozy and never too busy even if it’s full. The breakfast is delicious!! Real coffee, eggs, salad, pancakes, fresh bread, jam, butter... perfect! But yeah, as described, the best part is the host! I only met Zhandiya and she is awesome! She worked many years at the touristic information center so she speaks English perfectly and knows everything you need to know to explore the Pamir! I had a great time there! The place is impeccable clean. 1000% recommended!

Clean hostel with dorm style rooms (we had a room to ourselves but not sure if this is always the case), clean western toilet and shower. The best part is the hosts. They speak perfect English and both used to work at the information centre. They are very knowledgeable about the area including Afghanistan. Great location. There would be room in their yard for bikes. They let us park our car inside the owners gated yard next door. Highly recommended. $13 pnpp with breakfast
