pretty cool campground in Kings Range, not far off the main road to shelter cove. probably about 10 sites, first come first serve, and the fee is $8 a night. there's a BLM information office on the main road just before the turn off to kings peak rd, check it out on your way in they were really helpful. tons of BLM land all around this area but this looked nice for a night on my way to Arcata :)

Beautiful little campground. Bike trails look fun and will have to come back to ride them. Good hike nearby at King’s peak. Streams to get to the hike may scrape with lower clearance vehicle

A lovely quiet place to spend new years weekend, though we had a big storm and small earthquake! No one else here...place to ourselves. A cool mountain bike trail area. Pit toilets OK. Really beautiful trees and spacious sites. Nice fire pits and lots of dead wood around. Half off w/NP pass.

Beautiful campground right next to the Paradise Royale MTB trail, the terrain park with jumps and wall rides starts right at the campground. I was able to tow my 22ft camper trailer in here without a problem. Just have to watch for the low hanging branches and potholes in the gravel road. Absolutely incredible!

SOOOO many mosquitoes I got chased into my jeep. Morning and night. Bug spray and smoke didn’t work. Trash and toilets thoooo. No cell service at all Verizon

Nice little campground. I was definitely "the guy in the van" in an ocean of tents. One loud family and another uncontrolled dog stole the show though. $8/night, 14 days per calendar year max.

Great campground with only 9 sites. Close to several mountain bike trails and terrain park. Pit toilets. No water. $8 per night.
